At our age we should cherish every moment we have with our family cause life is so busy and hectic and having this kind of opportunities would get less and less as we grew older. We leave the Philippines to Europe in April 2024. So excited. Was not at home since 2011.My mom is 80. Really miss the 4 seasons, the food, bread etc..

I'm originally from the 🇵🇭 Philippines but staying here in Chicago, USA for work. I learned to love Chicago and just go back to Philippines for vacation. Stay where you think you will be more comfortable. God bless and good luck.

Agee. I completely agree with @dinona on scottilad's uselessly correcting her. We're not a race to force other nationalities to live in our country. They decide it themselves. That's why we have so many of them here. Americans, Europeans, Asians. They even set up their own communities here like Chinese, Indians, Koreans, etc. Nelly much as Filipinos have loved her can live wherever she wants permanently. And that will never be an issue with us. No other country in the world is as welcoming a people like us with our constant smiles.

my wife and I were planning a trip in Central EU this coming fall maybe around second week of Oct. I hope to see you there! not for nothing what does it take for you to go back and stay for good. There's a lot of beautiful places to visit like central and Eastern Europe. I was born and grew up in the Philippines but I’m living now in the US ( New Jersey ) and I’m not going back to PI to retire. My life here in the US is so much better.

I love your city of Vienna. My first cousin is a retired nurse in Vienna. She retired after working for 40 years. I visited her 2 years ago. Vienna is such a vibe. Very cosmopolitan, clean but very expensive city. My cousin took me to St Stephen cathedral and Cafe central. You are right. There's nothing life home. For me, home wherever I am. Currently living in Seattle, Washington after living in London, UK for a long time. I miss Europe a little bit. Haha.

Wow! It reminds me of my vacation in Vienna Austria with friends last 2016. It's such a wonderful place. Yes, St. Stephen's Cathedral church located in Stephansplatz , Vienna. it's a long flight more than 12 hours from Philippines to Vienna Austria.
