Thank you for the wonderful memories of my first Holland America cruise back in '99. We stopped in Ketchikan and Creek Street is still as quaint as I remember! And you found one of my favorite spots on a HAL ship - the Crow's Nest!❤ Thank you and enjoy the rest of your Alaskan cruise! Cheers! 🍸
Thank you so much for watching Cindy and happy to hear it brought back some great memories for you! I love the Crow’s Nest, always a great spot to relax and enjoy the views, glad to hear it’s a favourite for you too 😊 Thanks again!
Heading again to Alaska next month! Yay! Will check out creek street to see the salmon swimming as we were there this past May. The Alaska Fish house was quite good, they can get busy, so get there early, line up and enjoy! The service was fast once seated inside after placing our order. It was a non rainy day when we went in May….we shall see in September!
Do you know if the tiles are one per stateroom, or one per passenger. My adult daughter is joining me and we both have 1 star so I believe we would get a tile. Hopefully one each.
I’m not sure as I was travelling solo in my stateroom. However if you don’t receive one each you can ask Guest Services and I’m sure they can provide you with another one (they can also do this with the shopping bags). Hope this helps and thanks for watching! 😊
I believe it depends how it’s packaged, best to ask at the various shops in Alaska as they will advise you which products are allowed to be brought back to Canada, if any. Personally it wasn’t a product I’ve brought back home to Vancouver.
Hi Jared, it usually depends on the travel advisor and what you’re booking with them. For myself, I don’t charge fees when I book cruises for my clients at this time, however I do charge fees when booking airfares or custom travel itineraries for my clients. Feel free to reach out to me if you don’t have one you’re working with already, as I’d be happy to discuss this further. My link to contact me is found here: www.wanderlustjourney.ca/contact-me

Thanks for bringing back the special memories of my visit to Ketchikan on Koningsdam last Sept. Great photo work in the streets, and on the water.
Thank you! Happy to hear it brought back some great memories 😊

such an interesting historical village with the river running through & the shopping opportunities look great!!
Yes! It’s changed a bit since the last time you’ve sailed there, nice to see a few more “local” shops and a few less jewelry stores lol
Great job so far! Thanks for sharing your journey to Alaska!

Can I bring smoked salmon back to Ontario?

What's the cost of having a travel advisor?
