The cost makes this unattainable, it cost twice as much as the hotas itself. I am sure it's a great product and you put a ton of man hours into producing it, but making it more cost effective would bring it to a much more open market.
@@bikerboy3k These are T-Slot aluminum extrusions. Their current prices aren't that bad for their country. If you wish to modify them later, knowing what lengths you need would be handy. Really, you're just paying a bit more to have them precut everything for you, clean edges (hopefully) and blueprints already made up to assemble it. As well as get the materials.
Seems like a flat piece of bar stock might work better for the spar that attaches the two stands. It could be attached to the bottom rather than the front of the stands. In any event, the foot obstruction would appear to be only a minor nuisance.
Q: Does this come in anodized black? If not, would powder coating the structural members and mounting plates significantly interfere with the assembly?
Sorry for the late answer. At the moment the stand comes only in silver. You should be able to powder coat everything without much problem. Just check your perfect setup before so you don't get that many scratch marks.
I've checked out your website and products and I must say, if I ever hit the lottery I would be buying so much from you.
