I have been thinking about your Vlog all day, searching for the right thing to say. You guys have been working so hard to get ready for the birth of your child, and I am sure have some trepidations about how to parent. In my long life, I have never seen a couple look forward to the birth of their child with such profound love and joy. But facing the weeks before her birth must be taking its toll on you both. Fixing the house, which is lovely and the anxiety that the birth will go well are burdens in themselves. To have to negotiate a legal labyrinth seems so unfair to me, and in my lack of knowledge, unnecessary, especially in Holland, which came as a surprise to me. I hope you have all the support you need. I will be anxious until I hear that all has gone well. My very best wishes and thoughts for the next two weeks. Wish I could help.❤

I`m glad you live somewhere that is gay friendly , im afraid friends of ours went through surrogacy in the USA in Atlanta . When they brought the baby home things went pear shaped some of their neighbours became openly hostile to the point they were getting death threats . After discussions with the police department they decided to relocate to New York where thankfully things are a lot happier and they feel safer .
I wonder how people would think of the upcoming IVG and artificial womb when those tech comes out commercially for the next generations. Most people don't know anything about the existence of surrogacy in that matter.
I thought Americans have accepted their differences but it wasn't. Not even Europe either. Just like how black people are hated again and again and has returned. Just like how Muslims are hated for being a terrorist. World is kind of biased nowadays because our comrades did not respect their acceptance and abused their freedom and I see it myself in documentaries. I thought my life would be normal for gays but there are instances it gets taken away and I start to bleed. But I hope things will turn out fine... just let time pass through...

I hope your veggies show up until you come back. I think you planted the kiwi tree too close to the wall. It is a tree after all and you should consider the side of the fully grown on and with a lot space for the leaves and you to go around and harvest. Plus if it is too close to the house the roots might cause damage to the wall in the future. Give it a thought. Have a good journey there and back all of you

Surrogate mother are still illegal in France. It's not so easy to have your baby " legalized" even if the baby was born outside France. That's from the strict interdiction to " sell" part of your body, blood, cells, organs...
In a way, even if I think the law prevents abuse or even worse, I think it's unfair for men as female are allowed with medical assistance for procreation.

Many people don't realize that if you create laws that give two gay fathers equal custody rights that it will give divorced straight fathers equal rights to see their children or keep them during a custody battle when the mother is unfit. They just need to change the laws to fit changing times.

Haha definitely not. In France it’s even more difficult. And the surrogate mother has a family of her own so that would be unpractical. Thanks.
Surrogate mother are still illegal in France. It's not so easy to have your baby " legalized" even if the baby was born outside France.
That's from the strict interdiction to " sell" part of your body, blood, cells, organs...
In a way, even if I think the law prevents abuse or even worse, I think it's unfair for men as female are allowed with medical assistance for procreation.
@@brigittelacour5055 Its like laws that limit gay father's rights. Many people don't realize that if you create laws that give two gay fathers equal custody rights that it will give divorced straight fathers equal rights to see their children or keep them during a custody battle when the mother is unfit. They just need to change the laws to fit changing times.
