Great vid, this will be my next build once I finish my current one. Just one question, is there like a combo or any specific rotation skills to do? This will be my very first mage build :D
Thank you! Main thing with this build is to make sure to use your oblivion circle and tether first before using ice abilities to make sure you get the empowerments. I typically like to use pylon after void abilities to then use my ice abilities within the frosted area which will lower cooldown time on all ice abilities. Hope you enjoy being a mage! Let me know in discord, stream or even here in the comments if you ever have any other questions!
Great vid! I run a similar build with the Nimble Coat/4 Refreshing/50 Focus. spike/storm/tomb & orb/scream/tether. I'd be interested in spike damage with 5 harnessing and wrath vs no harnessing and no wrath. I don't think wrath is that great for this build because you can't put out sustained damage like you can with the fs. I think you'd get more use with featherweight or nimble. The key to survival with this build is abilities because you don't have any escape. Another tip you could try is to run this build with healing tomb instead of shower. You'd want the tomb perk on armor and healing breeze on your ring. The healing breeze procs on the returning green orb and on the healing from tomb. This helps a ton with survivability.
Thank you! Definitely some good ideas for more survivability! I personally prefer shower over entomb for the CC and ability to peel for teammates and myself with it. Main reason I dont worry about cooldowns as much like with nimble coat is because of the massive cooldown reduction you get within the frosted area paired with refreshing move. I do find with Nature's wrath even with 4 stacks of harnessing and runeglass, I'm hitting for more damage more consistently than I previously did without it. Obviously everyone has different play styles though so sometimes more damage or utility over survivability doesn't always work. Thanks for sharing what you like to run, I might have to test some of it out myself!
I just checked the database and it looks like the only way it will drop is in M3 mutated BB from Admiral Blackpowder, so not many chances to farm it up outside of spamming the expedition. Your only other option is to craft it in the gypsum kiln like I did using the Dense Mutator Materia which can be farmed through any of the mutated expeditions regardless of mutation level. (higher mutation level = more materia) You can also get a decent amount of dense mutator materia from the season pass if you work through it.
With good movement you can duel against people. Some builds will absolutely demolish it, but utilizing the ice shower is key to survival in a 1v1 situation. It's a squishy build with the runeglass in the armor, but still very fun to play.
What about mag gauntlets? Have you tried it?
Cool video did u try this with deep freeze or why u use lifetaker speacially
Hey, any ideas on changing this build with new pants or helmet?

Is there another way to farm Admiral's set? I´ve done 15 runs on BB and still no drops. Unlucky I guess...
