Prince George's Film Festival Take Two: Film Premiere Talk Back Conversation w/ Cast & More!

The Prince George's Film Festival kicked off its second annual event on Thursday, September 28th, with a red-carpet opening night film screening and reception. During the festival, I had the chance to speak with actor Lamman Rucker about the importance of community events like this and how they represent us. I also conversed with the Star of the Deadly Getaway, Jeff Logan on channeling his inner villain for this role.
The festival aims to support filmmakers by providing them with a platform to showcase their work and network with industry representatives and local creatives. It also highlights the collaborative partnerships between the academic, social, political, and business communities within the county.
PGFF Take Two is dedicated to presenting the best of cinema in Prince George’s County and creating transformational experiences for filmmakers, digital creators, and film enthusiasts. The festival runs for four days and offers various workshops, including animation, cinematography, and acting, as well as panel discussions and talkbacks focused on trends and the future of film. These events take place in person at various locations throughout Prince George's County.
