The saddest thing is knowing that Attack on Titan has extremely incredible and well-made soundtracks, but Studio MAPPA didn't know how to make good use of any of them 😢. Wit Studio was much better, they always put the right soundtrack at the right time.

I think they did a good job depending on the situation. The usage of Aotf-s1 in the colossal titan's explosion in season 4 was perfect. The colossal's theme in a modified version to show that this time it's a different colossal. Then the moment Levi cut Zeke was perfectly timed with the music and the final choir came perfectly to portray the despair the Marley soldiers felt in that moment. I also really liked the usage of Ashes on the fire at the starting battle. And The other side of the sea as the warhammer titan's theme. Part 2 also did some things right but for me personally, aside from anytime TRAITOR played it was just fine, nothing too great (Except for our BARRICADES nostalgia trip scene, that was insane).
But the final chapters (part3) really did a good job at using the music in perfect synchrony with the scenes portrayed
