    "I can't believe I'm saying this but...thank you."
Thec wasn't quite sure where those words came from himself. Maybe it was Vette's words in his mouth. Maybe it was his ever-lingering disgust for the Hutts. Maybe it was his own tired, worn out frustration with slavery-as both slaver and slave himself to Vitiate.
Whatever it was, a Pureblood Sith born to the hight of power nodded to an Evocii woman, a race so low on the totem pole the soil looked like the sky.
Thec thought to himself. "Republic. Empire. Hidden Chain. Hutts. How many unworthy use those with conviction for their own ends."
A troubling thought. He always knew he and Malgus shared much in common. It seemed like a cruel twist of fate that one he'd be proud to have beside him, was constantly pitted against him.
As Rakit led her people to war, he looked to his Twi'lek...ally? Asset? He didn't even know anymore. The simple life of Imperial vs Republic was over and things had become complicated.
But as he watched those free men and women fight for what was their's, and prepared to find those the Hidden Chain had captured, Thec silently commented to himself,
"Malgus was right about one thing. It's time to break free."

Excellent! Thec said those words because at this point, he knows what to say when someone is having a breakdown at the loss of a loved one. It was also the Sith in him. He wanted her to take her grief and use it to become stronger. While other Sith might disagree, it is the way of the Sith Code for slaves to fight for freedom. He'll encourage that.
Thec is so disgusted by Sa'har. To him, she's always showing how weak and soft and naïve she is. And, you know, opening the holocron and furthering Malgus's plans didn't help. lol

      @@suicune2001 XD Sa'har: You hate me because I'm a Jedi, don't you?
Thec: I hate you because you're an idiot! You could be Naga Sadow's long-lost sister and I'd still lose braincells trying to understand you! For for Kark's sake, we're in a war, stop whining all the time!

@@randomcenturion7264 LOL!!! Yeah, pretty much. In my first run with the Emperor Vowran Thec, he thought maybe he could turn Sa'har to the dark side. But after being forced to pay attention to her dialogue, there's no chance that'll happen. And even if it did, I don't think Thec WANTS it to happen. She'd cry and have a mental breakdown every time she's forced to cut off someone's toe.
Master Timmns would definitely argue against this but Thec thinks using the Force basically puts a target on your back to where you'll be forced to kill. Probably a lot. If you can't handle that reality then don't use the Force and live as a normal person. No one would know.
Now that I think about it, Auroja would probably be a good mentor to Sa'har. Auroja doesn't follow the Jedi ways but is still a good person and has dedicated her life to helping others. That's probably the kind of life Sa'har needs.
