@@roseybopp the point is, that if US soccer is going to develop, we are going to need College soccer to step up and set limitations on international players in a squad. It’s obvious that foreign soccer is better than US soccer….but with College Soccer being one of the major feeders into our MLS system we need more homegrowns in the system.
Fun fact: Both teams that lost in the semifinals crossed a ball in from the left side and headed it off the crossbar. Ohio State with 38:48 left in the first half. Denver with 38:54 left in the first half.
@@oldmanwillem I know. Marshall isn't an underdog against Ohio State. Marshall is a top program in the country. With way more tournament success than Ohio State
Please refs STOP sTANDING SO CLOSE TO SET Piece kick takers, and penalty takers, and stop talking to them( i saw this earlier in the year in early post season)and goalies before any free kicks ..please just get out of the way.your not playing.having said that, the reffing has been pretty good this season overall, with VAR helping but we can always do better..thank you refs.we love you too!!
Why are they not letting players re enter 2nd half? i think that's not good for the game. Also, what's with the announcer countdown at end of halves and games? it's so distracting? and the time not being kept on the field by the ref, ok, but then you gotta stop the clock more,...too much clock running during pauses, and we know that "extra time is so subjective." it's not just after goals are scored and injuries (obviously), but it's also when balls can't be found late in games on sidelines, , when opposing players stall, or take forever on goal kicks, throw ins,,,when communication is needed between refs and players, refs and coaches, cautions, etc..etc..it becomes so boring...not as much fun to watch in overtime, etc..bottom line games are too short now...and we wanna see more subs getting playing time, that's why you have 22+ players on your roster.MAKE THIS GAME GREAT AGAIN!!!PLEASE STOP WEARING BRAS GUYS.IT'S THE MOST CRINGIEST THING EVER
1. They can't re enter because that makes it more like every other football league in the world. 2. They aren't bras, they are to monitor the players hearts and make sure they are ok and healthy to play.
@ I know that fir both your answers are ok but could be not good to have that stuff close to your heart anyway and it's not worth it, go with the better player not the one who runs the most and is the best robot. Fun fact: 25/27 of marshalls rostered players were not born in the US
24/27* (i miscounted but that is still insane)
For comparison, Ohio State has 9/27 players from foreign countries
Lots of people in the USA were not born here. Is this about where you are born or who is better at the game?
That's how it was when I played D3 soccer except for Penn State Behrend which just robbed all the best Western PA players that could have gone D1

I noticed this too, I thought maybe I was watching the other replay again!
@ I watched it back side by side and it’s almost identical. The commentator even said the same thing
For real.. that was so crazy... i was mad confused for a hot second..
College teams should enter the us open cup, would be even more fun
Marshall is in an another championship game!Go Herd!
The Final is going to be great between two underdogs!
Marshall isn’t an underdog lol

@@SportsHistoryDatabase I don't like Ohio State, and I remember when you guys won in the Spring 2021 season.
well done marshall👏👏
Only took one of Ohio states starting defenders getting shot to get beat. Crazy
Yes, because Marshall was definitely involved in that lol. Don’t make us try and look like the bad guy Gary
what a pass
Terrible finishing. Moral: Don't take an extra touch, shoot as soon as you get an opportunity.
Poor game by Ohio State.
Was the Marshall goal not offside?
Fun Fact: This game hurt to watch; mistake highlight reel

Bs that it can’t be watched live for free
Speaking of Marshall University, the 13th ranked Thundering Herd blanked the 1st seeded Buckeyes of Ohio State on goal of a Goalkeeper assist.
