Got my second attempt today at Part 2, failed on first for speed through road works with temporary 30mph limit which I obeyed until I came to end of what I thought were end of works as no more cones or workmen only to come across end sign of works sign 1/4 down the road, at which point I was back up to around 50 mph. I've been practicing for part 2 now twice a week in Northampton where my test will be and is an hour from home. I've still learnt valuable pointers from this video, mainly in reference to braking and not changing down the gears at junctions, not needing to signal at mini roundabouts to exit.
hi. How your test part 2 turns out ? I am still trying to correct bad habits with ORDIT trainer - not using hand break , crossing arms, holding both hands on a wheel , going down the gear when slowing down .. I failed hazard perception on ADI part 1 and hope to pass on 2 January ..How long did you have to wait to book your part 2 test ? I was hoping to book my test somewhere local -Norwich or Peterborough , but for what I hear its difficult to find a spot ..Good luck with part 3
@@bensonandaga Yes passed at second attempt now working on Pink Licence. Took about 2 months for my part 2 test from booking to taking both times. I had to travel to Northampton being my closet test centre but still an hour each way travelling time plus practice, went twice a week for around 4 months to practice. Good luck with your test.
congratulations to you @@colesdrivingschool , real well done.. I though that I am such a great driver until I took mock test and ended up having 8 driver faults . Did you purchased instructor curse or pay as you go ?
Thanks for the video, it is nice, easy and smooth but as most of the videos I have watched they have hardly any challenging situations as they all recorded when there are hardly any car on the road but I had been useful thank you.
Great video. I have a question. At 4.15 if you are on second lane in roundabout and get next exit is safe to move to first lane when you approach the exit ? Is not dengerous? Thanks
I failed unfortunately. I was so nervous more then usual. I had done really well but then towards the end of my test I was asked to do parallel parking, because it was a lowered kerb my back wheel hit it. And the examiner failed my test on the spot. And now I can’t seem to find another date to rebook.
Very useful. Thank you so much. I should take my Part 2 test in a couple of months time but, I will have to use an automatic car. Any videos available on that, by any chance? Thank you :)
That was great. Would be good if you did other videos in built up areas more. Other videos have shown using the handbrake more when stopped. I noticed you didn't use the handbrake much. I wonder if this is ok? Must be, as you didn't
Any advice on how to start for Trainning is it better to start with company or with an independent instructor, any advice , recommendations would be appreciated.
Great video. Question: Can you do commentary during the part 2 exam? I find it useful when im practicing and was wondering if i can do it during the actual test. Thanks.
Hi, may I ask a a question please, at 21.28 as you approach the roundabout behind the van, you are in the correct lane to go straight ahead, however as you the enter the roundabout, (the left off lane is for the fist exit) continuing in the middle lane, I notice a lane to your left once passed the 1st exit, would that not be the correct lane to move into as you exit the roundabout, if not what is that lane for ? I have my test coming up and am trying to double check everything so forgive me if this seems a silly question. Thanks
You are correct I think, he follows the van into the incorrect lane whilst he's talking about being a confident driver and failing to see the minibus on the roundabout that would stop the van from emerging and an empty lane on the right (the one that would be the lane that goes into the one he takes on the roundabout). Or maybe he moved lanes to try and overtake the van on the roundabout and then the van taking the wrong lane stopped him.
I have watch soo many videos that are all giving the wrong advice.. until i watch your video. I really appreciate your honesty
I have learned more from you then my 8 hours lessons with my driving instructor. Appreciated for your videos
Same lmfao - how did you do?
Thank you really enjoyed your drive and very helpful thank you again .👍🏻
Thank you very much
I find that the more I try to get things right the more mistakes I end up doing.

yes you can
Only one day to go😬nervous
how did you get on?
On motorways and duals is it required to left signal when coming into left lane?
You lost me when you said yuh don't use gears to slow down and went for a block change from 5th to 1st 😱 Ever heard of engine braking ?
That's what i was taught 20 yrs ago but things have changed now 😊
