    Number Systems - Input codes are represented in Binary-Coded Decimal (BCD) format.
    Logic Gates & Boolean Simplification - Logic circuitry ensures correct code verification and operation.
    Karnaugh Map (K-Map) - Simplification of the boolean logic for item selection optimization.
    Decoder - A 3-to-8 decoder can decode the selection inputs to corresponding outputs directly.
    Problem:
    You are tasked with designing the logic circuit for the vending machine to ensure the correct item is dispensed based on the 4-bit selection code. There are two potential approaches:
    Using a 3-to-8 Decoder: Design a circuit where the 3-to-8 decoder handles the logic of mapping inputs to the appropriate item. Additional gates may be used if required.
    Using Boolean Simplification and Logic Gates: Use Boolean Algebra and Karnaugh Maps to simplify the logic and manually design a circuit with gates.
