I’m currently reading The Summer of Broken Rules and it was definitely written for swifties!! The main character is called Meredith, there’s direct references to fearless, and a dog called Loki (👀). It’s a romance set at a lake house all set around a family game and a family wedding. It also deals with death of a sibling. It’s a very easy read!

If you haven't read it yet, I would recommend to you "Where the crawdads sing". It's not an easy read, it's more mature, but a tragically beautiful story. I loved it with my whole heart. It kinda reminds me of "cardigan" as for the plot and also "no body no crime".

As a Swiftie and a bookworm, I LOVED this video and I would so want to see a part 2! I freaked out when I saw "Since You've Been Gone" because I read that book when I was 10...I was probably too young, but hey, I liked it lol! I also screamed when I saw "Along For the Ride" because I watched the movie with my bff (who'd seen it) at a sleepover and really liked it, so now I'm thinking about reading the book! Better Off Friends and The Selection trilogy seem interesting, so I might check them out! It seems like every Swiftie loves The Selection haha, so maybe I'm missing out on something! I've been dying to experiment with some new books lately, so I am definitely putting these on my list! I was thinking of checking out "It Ends With Us" because it was all over booktok but after doing some research, I'm realising that it might be too heavy/mature for me... I haven't read many romance books since I was more of a fantasy gal growing up, but I have read (and love) the "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" trilogy by Jenny Han, and I will say I really associate "Wildest Dreams" and "This Love" with those books. "Wildest Dreams" - being so in love and wrapped up in a relationship that you just know is not going to last - and "This Love" - a difficult but beautiful love that is everchanging. I also think "The 1" goes really well with the 2nd book specifically when a guy from the main character's childhood comes back. I know a lot of people have read these books but I just wanted to say my thoughts on them anyways! Update: I was browsing my local bookstore yesterday and I saw that they had the first book in The Selection trilogy, so I bought it!! I'm only 3 chapters in but I'm already really liking it, so I'm gonna keep reading it!

Some books I recommend are: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (very folklore vibes to me and maybe some songs from evermore relate to it too) It’s one of my favourite classics I’ve read although it’s not the easiest to read, it’s so well written. The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E Smith. This reminds me of Come Back Be Here from Red Super Awkward by Beth Garrod. This reminds me of Taylor’s debut album I think it’s perfect for aged 12 to 14, I think you’d like this if you like teardrops on my guitar

There’s a book I read recently called A Separate Peace, by John Knowles. It radiates such Folklore and Evermore energy! It’s kind of tragic, so not a very happy read, but it’s very pensive and genuine like those two albums. The plot and characters, for me, are like if Seven and Marjorie had a child.
I don’t know if anyone else has picked up on all the hints or hopefully 🐣 Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling Taylor is going to release a book… think about the all too well short film when she’s portrayed as an author ✍️ 📕 🤓 THEN THEN THEN… the 3 am track Dear Reader… idk when but it’s coming! She’s getting very creative with other mediums such as films and poetry. Let me know if you think the same!
