It was a delight to see you both on the video. I really have missed you. So sorry to hear about your Father , Jonna. Treasure the memories. Great to see you knitting and catch up on all your news. Enjoy Rhinebeck. 🇬🇧
Oh my gosh it was so wonderful to see that you two had posted an episode! I thought Jonna was going to make me cry but instead it was you, Kim. I’ve been reading a lot also and I can’t read and knit together either so I end up staying up late (very) to read. You both look fabulous! Enjoy Rhinebeck! 🌸🌼🌻
Wonderful to see you both together, you bring me so much joy! So sad for you Jonna , loosing a family member is devastating. Hugs to the two of you, being apart is so difficult, your friendship is magical, this is why I love to watch the two of you. Stay strong, a great friendship can surpass any distance. I moved away from my best friend of 35 years (also business partner of 25 years), thank God for FaceTime, we can see each other every day. Looking forward to more episodes.
You guys have such great chemistry. I have missed you very much/so glad to catch up on your lives & knitting escapades. I cried as I listened to you share about (both of) your losses & challenging life changes. Sharing these with us publicly helps remind me that I am not alone in my own challenges. I am part of a human community that shares a passion for fibers and making - all the while living the fullness of life. Condolences.
Glad to see you back! Jonna, I am so sorry for your loss. How wonderful to have had all those years to make memories with your father, and great to be near your children and grandchildren to make memories with them! Kim, I know you've missed Jonna since her move, despite your happiness for her. Going to school is just the right thing to make you feel reinvigorated. Being around younger fellow students is not a bad thing. You will look around the room and see a lot of people who are all the same age; only they will look around the room and see one person who is older than the others. Have a great time at Rhinebeck!
Watching your podcast today made me realize just how much I missed you both! ❤️ I’m so sorry for your loss, Jonna. I lost my father very unexpectedly this past February. It still feels surreal that he isn’t around! I don’t know why it didn’t register with me that your move to Texas was permanent. Your daughter that lived in Connecticut is now in Texas, too! How nice to be near all of your children! Kim, I wish I had half your energy! I think it’s awesome that you’re taking college classes! I’m a couple years older than you, but still teach at my local community college. Just like you both, I love school!
I’m sad I’m missing Rhinebeck this year. I would love to meet you and can’t wait till the day I meet you both in person. I love all of your choices and absolutely love seeing you both together. Thank yoooouuu soooo much for mentioning my little toolkit, it means so much to me. And so fun and nice of you to bring a gift to Matt. Another great episode Kim and Jonna ❤❤❤
Love the podcast, love your friendship! Kim love and keep the blonde hair, think you'd be gorgeous with gray hair too. Jonna love your new cut! Great to catch up with you guys! ❤
Love seeing you ladies getting to spend time together. Having such a close friend really is one of the best gifts ever. Enjoy the Rhinebeck festivities! Hope to make it there one day!
Hi ladies. So lovely to see you together again nattering away about knitting. I'm so very sorry for your loss Jonna. Bereavement is a very individual journey & it sounds like you're doing all the right things & yes decision making is one of the hardest to get to grips with. I'm loving the new knits. Thanks for all the inspiration. X
Good to see the girls 'back together'. Your opening, sharing of family sagas - ups and downs, is what makes this podcast so relate-able. I ask that you continue that and then, oh yeah, we did some knitting/crocheting and acquistions.
Sooo good to see you two! Great Saturday morning knitting session. Kim, I made the outline tank and had to rip it back as my set up was off when I dropped the sts…it went right through the ribbed section! 😣🫠🥹I’m SURE yours will turn out lovely. :-) And LOL Jonna! Fairy smut!!!You must be reading Sarah Maas books. I’m obsessed. Worked my way through ACOTAR from June-July and am at the end of the Throne of Glass series…Which series did you read? I swear ACOTAR brought on my peri menopause symptoms….hormones activated! 😂😂😂
Hi Jonna, my dad died August 26. Grief is indeed so weird. Sometimes I feel almost normal. Sometimes I miss him so much, it physically hurts. Thanks for talking about your dad. ❤
So fun!!! What a great and action packed episode!!! Thank you both.- cant wait to see you at Pick up Every Stitch on Thursday, CakePalooza on Friday and hopefully Rhinebeck on Saturday too!!! ❤❤❤
It's so good to see you ladies again together for a visit. Meeting you regularly, whether via Zoom or in person, would be fun. I hope you can do these more often. I missed these podcasts. Jonna, you're in my area now; McKinney Knittery is my lys. I'm in Melissa, TX. Are you anywhere near me?
A great episode! As always. I too like to see finished objects to decide what to knit. Maybe because I don’t like to make a decision on colours but I really know what I like! ❤
Shout out to Haliburton! I know the area well, I've had lots of family cottage time there over the years. Its Thanksgiving weekend in Canada 🇨🇦. Its so nice to see you and Jonna together
Love ur hair Kim 15:30 I’m gonna grow mine out so I can do the top like yours. How about a platinum for Rhinebeck & the. U can let it grow out & see if the gray comes in. I let mint go early & got lots of compliments
Jonna our eldest daughter was born on 8th August 1978😊. Kim I had a cry when you got upset at first time you were at Pickup every stitch without Jonna. Glad your back ladies, enjoyed video ❤❤❤❤❤
It’s so great to have you both back and together again! So sorry, Jonna. Saying goodbye to your parent is never easy. Your haircut is adorable! Kim, “Blondes DO have more fun!!” 😉❤
i love that knit dallas has such a different set of yarns available in comparison to mckinney knittery. in my opinion between those two stores and on the lamb yarn shoppe in grapevine there's not much to be left wanting for on the dallas side of dfw. also omg kim, production classes!!! that's so fun! i'm a graphic designer and had to take a couple video classes for my degree, but i'm sure they're not nearly as in depth as what you're doing. can't wait to see all your new skills manifest in these videos lol! idk if your professor will do something similar but all of mine made us learn the more important keyboard shortcuts for the programs we were using. they really tried to impress upon us how important it was that we were quick at what we were doing. it was annoying way back then but it's definitely helpful now, so that's my one tip to you lol
I’m so sad I will miss “Road to Rhinebeck” this year as well as the Rhinebeck weekend…family wedding on 10/19. Yes, I attended last year and had a wonderful time. It was so lovely meeting Mercedes in-person too…🤗🧶💗
