That newborn Christian feeling is pretty great. You can feel the Holy Spirit moving in, making changes in everything. It's like a honeymoon period for a while. It fades eventually, but you remain forever changed.
How can that happen to me ? I am christian ,and have been baptized ,i pray but i dont feel holy spirit 🥲
Dear CupCake pray & ask for the indwelling Spirit. Ask directly for God to show you if there may be something blocking your experience of His Presence. Do you have any witchcraft / pagan jewellery clothing etc stuff or books like Harry Potter or pornography hanging around.
Even born again folk can have difficult times of spiritual oppression.
Just keep trusting. Don't be discouraged & give thanks to God even when you don't Feel His Presence & the enemy eventually loses & you win. It's the best & hardest battle at times. Pray for God to send people & circumstances to help you. Cry out if you feel down & lonely. Speak to Him & like this man said read the Bible & the seeker will be rewarded

Amen.. if we draw near to God He will draw near to us. (James4:8) As we spend time in prayer ,fasting and the word we draw nearer to the Lord and He to us. We need to abide in Him as Jesus told us to.( John 15:4)plus seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit will keep the fire of God burning in us and He will lead us into all truth . The journey through life is not easy, Jesus said it is narrow and difficult but He will be with us to help us along the way.(Matt7:7, Ephesians 5:18, John 16:13, John 14:15-18, 2 Corinthians13:14)

fasting is a way to access it again, of course given God's grace and timing...but He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. I'm talking about fasting from food in particular but any self-denial is good. But the fasting in my experience has to be for God. I've fasted to lose weight and it's not the same. Isaiah 58 explains more
That age old question of why do bad things happen to good people can easily be answered. It only happened once and He volunteered 👍🙏

I remember when i read about the roman centurion story in the bible, how Jesus spoke about his faith and at the time i wasn't a born again, it was just hard to believe at the time that a soldier believed, but thank God the door is open to all who come to Jesus, brothers in the military, navy etc. go thru so much pain and are told to bottle it in, witness so much pain and injustice, doesn't really matter on who side you on praise God

I've watched a few testimonies, but this one resonated with me. I'm basically in the middle of an awakening (haven't had my penny drop moment as such yet), but a deep dive into 9/11 in 2019 woke me up from the satanic matrix. It's been 4 years of rabbit holes, and flat earth actually got me looking at the book of genesis. It's dawned on me we are in an enclosed system as described in genesis, and God is real. I'm just beginning to scratch the surface and start talling with him.

Basically, the sun is only about 3,000-5,000 miles over the earth goes in a circle above the earth along with the moon. The path varies over the earth with the seasons. Antarctica is not the south pole but a 25,000 mile in diameter circle of ice that holds in all the oceans. Water always finds its level whether in a lake or huge ocean.

He’s so right about kids being susceptible to spiritual influences. I’ve heard it so many times and it’s always kids who notice things first in “haunted” houses. There are no ghosts, they’re demons who masquerade as such but to a kid they’re just monsters and ghosts. This is possibly the first time I’ve heard it mentioned that kids can also just as easily recognise and be influenced by the Holy Spirit though

I've been seeking to know if the Spirit really is so active in our times, my heart is open to truth and i love Jesus (He is everything to me) but I just don't know. I've known His presence but everything I go looking for something more concrete I just hit a dead end...
If all this stuff is real, then please pray for me because I seem to be blind and deaf to it. I'm very confused.
For context I attend a cessationist evangelical church though I am not a cessationist, I'm not sure what to believe.
Please if only one person would pray, it would mean a lot. I've got to know.

@@maggiej8358 well Maggie, I appreciate your effort. Maybe you misunderstand what it eans to be a cessationist though. They do not doubt that the Holy Spirit is a present reality in our lives; sealing us, teaching us, convicting us, producing love, peace and joy but rather that He still produces the same miraculous events in our day as He did in the Apostles time.
These Scriptures... none of them prove that and after visiting Charismatic churches and Pentecostal churches too, I have not seen it though I have eagerly sought it and prayed for it and been prayed for by the elders of those churches.
One verse you suggested was striking though. "But the anointing in you is real and not a counterfeit anointing" so there can be a counterfeit.
I do believe that the Spirit occasionally does miracles today, I myself have had 3 such miracles which made me give up cessationism but I have not seen miracles on mass in the churches.
There was no debate about the constant miracles of the early Church.
So again thankyou but I must keep searching.

Dear Jesus I pray for John, I pray that he can rest in assurance knowing that he can trust you. I pray that he will read the word and that you will speak to him through your word. I pray that he can have confidence that you are teaching his spirit Lord what is true and that it will become clear as he learns about your spirit and how truly you are working in his life. If there's any understanding of your spirit being blocked in his life Lord, by the enemy or anything, I pray Lord that you would remove that so he can see clearly. I pray for his complete submission to you. I pray for healing in his life and that he can forgive those that have wronged him.
