It is a statue of modernist art, is called "Os Candangos" or could be read as "Pioneers", it is know as a symbol of the city near the Metropolitan Cathedral and TV Tower. It's by the Italo-Brazilian sculptor Bruno Giorgi (1905 - 1993).
