He really is a good dude. I've been to many games where I've shown up early to watch the pre-game workouts in Dallas. There are some games where you can tell he doesn't want to be bothered (which all humans have), but you never see him lash out or disrespect a fan. He takes his time with fan interactions when he goes down the autograph line on his way back to the locker room. He will even have a good laugh with some of the fans, and some back and forths. He really is just a regular dude with insane talent. Probably comes from being in the stands with regular fans watching his dad play sometimes. Saw both sides simultaneously. His dad also probably makes sure to keep him grounded, because he's probably seen how some players go off the hinges. Really just seems like a good dude enjoying living!

Ohhh yes he is... a player's prime is around for 25- 33 years old. Steph is going to turn 36 this season which is +really old for the NBA. At 38 years that is REALLYYY old... and that is just around the corner. As much as I want to see him annihilate everybody else for a good duration, it's not going to be that long 😓

Magic more so than Bird they had to make trades to make it that way but imagine if they went to bottom of the barrel teams and had to build them up! Would magic have 5 if he went to Golden State back in the day rather then the Lakers! I give more credit for taking a franchise to the top from the bottom...

Gil, nobody was tryna be a 6’9 PG because that’s out of most people control height wise. Curry, transformed the game because he is closer to normal human size but just so skillful shooting and handling the basketball he actually someone who the whole world can see themselves in and that fact makes him more capable of bringing in more casual fan, players to basketball and make him more of a fan favorite to most. But both are HOF I personally believe Magic and Curry or totally different players in different roles and eras and actually can’t be compared because magic played All 5 positions and guarded all five positions while curry have just now been able to be a average defender and at times stills hides on weak players on defense while he destroys them
On offense but magic wasn’t the greatest shooter but he was good enough for his era and still scored and assisted on a lot of his time points. I know offensive the put players ahead of others but to be fair magic was the better overall player since he defended all 5 positions and played all five positions and won at a high level as a rookie too. Both played and had HOF players/coaches with great organizations around them. Curry definitely hands down is 1of1 and greatest shooter but not sure he can be listed as PG don’t think he averaged more assists than kobe and yall said kobe didn’t pass.

How bad would he look with all these people arguing for him and he just says "nah, its gotta be magic". No way they expected a different answer!😂😂. Whether you agree with him or not you can't have an issue with this! He wouldn't be at this level if he didn't believe in himself this way!

Gil can be so arrogant it’s annoying because I be wanting to hear his opinion but then when he’s like “c’mon”, it’s borderline disrespectful to Magic. Nobody wanted to be a 6’9 point guard fine but Magic was more than that, he’s an unselfish leader, with amazing court vision and basketball IQ. An amazing all around athlete who galvanized an entire era to enjoy/play the game of basketball like it’s never been played before. Give that man his flowers 🌹

I aint mad at what Steph said but all of them in todays Era continuosly state they play Positionless basketball.
So if everyone is hybrids in todays game, how can you classify yourself as a point guard.
This is just food for thought...
Couldnt you say Steph is one of the greatest smaller players in league history.
You can also make an argument that Steph entered the league as a point guard but had injuries derailing him.
Once the coaches changed the offense for GS, Steph got his injuries more in check, and the offense had Steph and Klay running around picks with Draymond being more of a Point Forward in their free flowing Offense (even though Steph improvised at times), it looked more like
2 Shooting Guards on the court at the same time and a Point Forward with constant movement.
Being the best shooter is inherit in the name Shooting Guard.
Hypothetically if Jordan and Kobe was on the same team playing exactly like they normally play, And Pippen kept bringing the ball up the court to set up Jordan and Kobe, couldnt there be an argument that 2 shooting guards are on the court at the same time. But Jordan on paper would be the 1 position.
But as great as Jordan was, I wouldnt categorize him as a point.
Just a thought, But Steph is one of the greatest.

Kids that never seen Lebron before Miami? Kids that never seen a pre-injured Kobe? Kids that never seen Gil play??? Let alone anything else in the 2000s let alone anything in the 80s when magic played. Yes there were kids in that generation influenced by Magic.
Magic and bird saved the nba. Big guard like players like Grant Hill, Penny, Steve Smith, Pippen and others that played during the 90s were ALL influenced by Magic.
I’m not saying Steph is or isn’t the best/greatest. But Magic definitely had impact on play style, kids were on the playground and in tournaments running the fast break dishing no look passed like who???? Magic.
