Wow! This is without a doubt the best solo no damage fight I’ve seen. You did so many things that made this epic. -Used darkside -Used Prime Mode -Showcases all three of Cloud’s limit breaks -perfect parries -summoned the coolest summon, Bahamut Arisen -Got the chance for Bahamut to pop off Gigaflare -Surprised us with a synergy attack -Also, I mentioned limit breaks but the timing of Finishing Touch was *chef’s kiss* as the music swelled up If I were as skilled as you, _THIS_ is how I would’ve loved to do a solo no damage video. Great job.
Thanks man that means a lot. Its mostly determination though i don't think im gifted or something. Just like to put in the work when i love doing something and this fight was special to me. Hope they bring him back in part 3!
This seems like something the devs could patch! Can we petition them? We’re able to replay all of the quests and enemy intels, why not this one? As well as the summon fights on the island.
That would actually be kinda cool. Or maybe it gets linked with the Knights of the Round quest which will probably be Part 3's version of the Protorelic intel. I mean come on how can they not have the most iconic FF7 summon in there?
😮 Amazing. I saw that u decided to show the materia u used at the end and though: "It doenst even matter, Im pretty sure he could do it with his bare hands" .
Sometimes I wish there would be an interaction between Gilgamesh and Odin. With Gilgamesh being interested in owning Odin’s sword. Which at some point, can become a gag in a potential FFVIII remake
I don't have a ps5 to play this game yet, but I've just noticed, can party members not in your current party still do attacks from the back of the battlefield?
They added synergy attacks in this game and sometimes when you're in a longer fight in the open world the backline commando pops up. Im not sure bout the requirement but it is exactly what you think. Thats why i used it here just to show its in the game. Its rare that you can do this and in the simulator it is disabled.
It's exclusive to when you're in a dire situation. Basically if both party members are dead you'll be able to access backlines. It's literally a free desperation move. Obviously if you revive then you'll still have the backing attack available. Which can lead to some nutty stuff
You may not want to go through this game lol. At least a certain challenge where you gotta destroy things that can one shot you 18 times in a row...but yeah it's fun story mode and most of the big stuff!
The absolute worst thing is you can't practice against him so you're stuck in rulers of the outer worlds forever. Speaking of that do you have a build i can use for rulers to melt the bosses? I've tried optinoobs and all the others and the world records builds are too fast to pull off. Would help severely!
@@supersaiyanzero386 I be real didn't even try it yet. Other game's took over after endgame but i will come back to it soon. To your question i don't have a build but i saw some good ones. One thing that seemed pretty braindead was the yuffie atb build. Here is a vid about it, the build is shown at the end you basicly just spam that evade skill from yuffie to get Infinite atb you still wanna react but it seems pretty doable like that. ruclips.net/video/Lj4BsQ8BMyw/видео.htmlsi=UN-NaW2WuN1ZlJOl
The backline commando is a bit special. Think it only works in the normal world and not in battle challenges. If your on low health and team mates already died you can use the synergy abilities with party member's not active in the group. Its meant as a saving tool to close out tough fights but when i saw it work here i just had to show it. I wanted to stall a bit at the end and that also helped.
There is a mechanic called backup commando that get's activated when your under a lot of pressure and in the open world, dunno if its about time, damage or deaths. But If that happens you get a free synergy attack with members outside the party.
amazing!! and no damage 🔥 man, I hate that I gotta make a new save file just to have this fight to reload. Someone showed me that you can do this on hard mode by loading it as hard mode. Just sucks that I gotta make a new game and run it all the way to here :(
That is so dumb every trash fight can be replayed but one if not the the best fight can't be replayed and you would've to go through all chapters? Resetting your quest's doesn't reset this? I have a safe before this, if i would finish the game with that and go for hard mode i could play this on hard right? If so im pretty lucky to have a safe there and thanks man. Hopefully they fix that with upcoming patches.
haha yup! Hold on to your save of this!! When you complete the game, you can reload this fight on hard mode which is awesome. Enjoy! I really hope they do an update that allows everyone to replay this fight :(
Most parries here were with triangle. You get a parry if you press triangle and switch from operator to punisher mode. Here and there i have to use R1... If there are multiple hits you need to use R1 after the 1st triangle parry. Overall i think the triangle parry comes out faster so its easier to react when you attack but the timing feels pretty much the same and its also unique to cloud. And he can parry with that counter ability but its also depended on timing. You gotta learn the timing for it but one thing that helps a lot is the precision block materia. That gives you a bit more frames. Without it its pretty rough.
I cant believe that after being the game nearly twice now I'm just learning that Elemental Material + Fire and Ice materia works and makes you immune to both. That's awesome. So you could actually be immune to all elements then if you have two elemental materias???
To clarify i used elemantal materia on the upper set of materias which is the one on the weapon. That means i got the offensive effects from the elemantal materia but not the defensive ones. For that it needs to be equiped on the lower set of materias. All the immune pop ups were either perfect blocks, limitbreaks or summons. But to get back to your question. You can use it with fire/ice, sadly you cannot stack 2 elemantal materias on the gear set. Having 2 elemantal immunities is already pretty decent though. Didn't tested it but on offensive side of things it switches the element depending on the enemy weakness so i would guess it works similar in defense.

I wish we could replay it tho...
You technically can in the vr rulers of the outer world. You still have to fight the team summons to get to him unfortunately lol
I was lucky to have a separate save file before this fight🥲🥲🥲

Lmao, I love that. Greg is a great character. But hey, you know what else is great? This run! Fantastic job taking him down.
Gilgamesh is absolutely gonna teach Cloud Omnislash in Part 3.

I actually think it more likely he’s part of the plot for his Ultimate Weapon.
Imagine Gilgamesh joining in a fight against Ultima Weapon 🤯
@thatstheway2429 damn man that does make a bit of sense alright. I'm so hyped for Part 3.
with your insane execution, the fight looks so legendary!
at lvl 50 this fight took me 25 minutes and a large amount of potions and ethers. Insane work.

What's this trick with popping synergy skill window while parrying?
No trick there. I have default controlls and most of my parries were with R1 so the synergy menu pops up when i go for one.
How to you block all the time
Pffft "No Damage" *takes 20damage*
"Solo" *Has Yuffie blast away*
Just kidding I liked this a lot!

Ok this is new. How can you perform Synergy ability with a character that is not in active party? Also what is this Backline Command?

Bro has more motivation for killing cloud than any boss in the story 🗿
How did you use that synergy skill with yuffie at the end when she wasn’t even in the active party?

@@Tmo_201 thank you man
Wow this music
What accessory do you have equipped on cloud that is raising the limit bar so much when perfect parrying?
HP-MP swap materia. The lower your HP, the more limit you gain per block/damage received.
Whoa wait, you can do synergy moves with people not in the party?
Its possible when you're with the full party and took enough damage and its more a tool to safe you out of tough situations.
@@Tmo_201 That's pretty cool man, haven't seen that happen before. So you can only do it if the whole party is there and you're low health?
