Make them pay first from now on
Literally !!
Pay before you eat, simple as that
you pay now ! lol
That one’s really tricky especially on paying customers.
@@paulgilliland2992 pubs already do
@@paulgilliland2992 Macdonald and pub do
No eat then run
No one who has gone to dine out would object to paying up front or handing over credit card details. Do it! Problem solved.
Fast food restaurants require payment before you eat🎉🎉🎉🎉 it's going to turn to that.
Honestly, ask for CASH up front! I remember a very busy restaurant in Sydney did this decades ago after a heap of tourists dined and dashed.
Take the payment when they order. It’s not rocket science!
Seems it is in backward Britain
2:21 *STOP!* I am near certain that's the same woman I witnessed Dine&Dash in a small restaurant in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin - with her 2 female friends, earlier this year!! 😯 I am sooo not joking. Recognised her straight away. Expected all the culprits to be English Brits that nobody in Ireland would likely recognize! 🫣🙊 Holy c**p! 👀
Report to the police then.
Pay before you eat. Have more security. Have more CCTV
ABSOLUTELY TRAMP BEHAVIOUR
Nandoes makes you pay upfront so i don't see why these guys don't do the same
In New Zealand, in most restaurants you have to order first at the counter, and pay. And ONLY then they'll serve you the food.....
£50 for a fry-up ? I reckon the excessive pricing is playing a part, not that I condone this behaviour though...
01:35 not to mention the £7.95 for a Pepsi! that's insanity. that's almost 16 Dollary-doos!
Nothing to do with economics . Perps are FAT.
It's a decent restaurant. You're paying for the chef's skills, front of house service, and atmosphere. It's not like eating in the corner caff.
Cost of living 😂don’t make me laugh! Don’t go out if you can’t afford it! Absolutely disgusting and so unfair for us in industry that try so much to deliver you our best service! No excuse !!!
Well said.
Totally agree.
Take them through the civil courts and send in the bailiffs.
Best service? Ha ha ha, you pay £25 ,only to get a tiny piece of meat, generic sauce, bland drinks, yeah that's amazing
Cost of living. What a load of rubbish. People are doing this because they know they can get away with it.
Irish travelers
If you want to open a tab or a running check at a pub here in USA you will need to hand over a credit card otherwise it’s a no go . My sister owns 3 restaurants and bars in Santa Monica and staff generally know who the pigs are who have departed without paying. In that case they are refused service before they order anything. Cops won’t show up here for that. Even if they are around the corner. Each time they have an engagement the body cameras go on and that leads to hours of overtime on paperwork.
Ask to see ID before they can eat.
umm no thank you! I have no issues paying up front, but asking for ID is going too far. The UK is already a surveillance state, and asking for ID opens individuals up to other forms of identity theft or fraud, so again, no thank you.
@CheekyBird790 what if there's a mouse in your soup? 🤔🤪😅
@@Themis33 I call that an added protein bonus lol.
@@CheekyBird790😂😂 I love positive people.
@CheekyBird790 it's a police state
Same familiar demographic 😂
Travellers?
Shocking behaviour from people who do that ..
I would rather pay before they bring the food, it’s easier. It has nothing to do with cost of living, those people are scumbags.
Just make them pay before giving them the food
Couple of days ago, I saw two men with English backgrounds stealing multiple items multiple times from my local CO-OP. One of them was standing outside with bags, while the other kept going into the CO-OP with a bike, leaving it outside so he could run off easily.
From now on every restaurant in uk should tell customers to pay first when they order the food before waiter or waitress bring the food out. Simple As that.👍
A lack of interest from the police about this kind of crime helps encourage it. Dine and Dashers know there's very little chance of being caught up with. It's disgusting behaviour. Shocking that people do it with children present.
And this is what happens when you let people 'simply shoplifting', it has a trickle effect and now this is happening.
Maybe service charges put them off
Well restaurants shouldn't charge ridiculous prices for food. Its not even worth the price. If you can't afford to eat out then don't go
This is what happens when you refuse to punish lawlessness - no-one respects of follows the law x
CCTV is no good when the different police forces around the country can't share images because of Data Protection laws, all the freeloaders have to do is keep moving around. 🏃♂🍽
Pikeys
Who told you they can't share?
Why are the faces being blurred!!!
Even with upfront payment they'll come up with reason to get comped
Looks like ' boat people ' to me😂
Who the Vikings
@@shad118 those were the " long boats", the modern ones are the " round boats".
HARDLY A SURPRISE WHEN NOTHING HAPPENS WITH THE POLICE.
When or if caught,3 x the bill.
Can be easily solved by paying before you eating
I just can't see the problem with a card payment up front.
You can always do what they do in Nandos
Gypsies, nobody's mentioning it
Pikeys...Tyson needs 2 av a word 😂
Dishonesty is more open now🥺 if you can’t afford eat out don’t go🤷♀️🕊🙏🏻
No doubt Farage and reform supporters will have their view on why this crime is happening.
Great to see all our communities making their contribution towards cultural enrichment.

So you have a meal with your kids walk out without paying what are your kids going to grow up to be.
Nando's you pay first !
What is this country coming too ?
Just get their card before they eat by putting it through the payment system and putting £50 on hold or something.
A lot of places make you pay when ordering your food. It's the best policy to stop this from happening.
I wouldn't pay 50 quid for a fry up either 😂
Its called being cultural
Pay before you eat simple or take a card to put on the tab so if they walk out you can charge them
Why are they talking about cctv and all this and that
When they just tell them to pay after they order moving forward! Simple !
Disgusting behaviour
Time to pay up front .
You just get a bad name thats all and it will come back on you believe me..
No different to people not paying for taxi fares or shop lifting unfortunately been going on for years they know nothing is gonna be done about it
in my area they usually make you pay first.. Even if the food is not of standard it's wrong, you should at least tell staff members if you aren't happy with the service before leaving.
You pay before you get your Nando’s……so others should do the same! I remember back in the early 90’s I went to a Chinese Restaurant and once ordered the food, they made us pay. At the time I thought hey don’t you trust us or something. We were late teens and probably had this problem back then and just thought they were stereotyping because we were teenagers, but as some one now older, I can see why they did it…..
No offense but theses businesses are mostly foreigners, theu have taken advantage of what other people built up and their work and services too.theft is always wrong but I also don't t agree with economic migrants flooding countries they can do business in their country.
The Pakistanis shops where i live sell expired goid dont put prices on things they charge excessive amounts one guy even increased the price in the till when i brought priced things i asked him how much every item cost . I was not up for a fight ,I just will never shop there again i reported their illegal scrap works going onin the back of the shop and broken wall by the road side preventing pedestrians from walking safely.
I own a window cleaning business at at one point we were losing £1000 a year in unpaid bills.
It's a cost your have to pass on to your honest paying customers, because its classed as a civil matter, and when the individual value is small, it can be more costly to chase it, or go to small claims.
7.95 for pepsi
Alot of people say in advance but how about times when you get served absolutly rubbish food and cant eat it?
In my experience, very rare. For my own part NEVER. Most were good or very good value, a couple passable. But never " absolutely rubbish"
Pay when ordering..easy . When they asked for a refund after the meal tell them to burp.
Why is this news 😭😭
Because it’s on the rise.
Dont read it then Paul Shat.
