Thanks for watching. Depending on your skill level, you should be able to paddleboard wherever we had our kayaks, but keep in mind that the Mattawa River has a current. It was gentle when we were there but can change, depending on the season. Moore Lake and parts of Pimisi Bay should be fine for paddleboards, but be careful near the waterfalls (avoid the northeast end of the bay). Cheers!
@@thebrownknowsermeant to come back here to say thank u once again! My girlfriend and I had a blast at SamD this summer and plan to go back next summer!
@@Devees13 I'm so glad you enjoyed your time there. DW and I would like to return and paddle the area that we skipped, between Pimisi Bay and the campground. Lots of challenging rapids that we'll portage but some interesting things to see. Cheers, and thanks for your comments!
I was here as a kid with my folks in 2005. Absolutely loved it! Moore Lake has some good pike fishing.
Could all the kayaking be done with a paddleboard do u think?
