@@TheGloryXros That's true. Jitt felt really shoehorned in before Suel showed up. That's one problem I have with Takahashi's writing. He introduces his final villains too late for them to be super impactful. He did it with Masamune Dan/ Chronos, Horobi (even though he was there the whole time), and now Jitto and Suel.

It could have been *SO* good, and it was just like. pretty good. Our four riders this season and their arcs carry the entire show, 4singlehandedly. Every time i was told "Last _GP", i wanted to blow my brains out, tsumuriD at the end was worse than nothing, management after Niram was bad. If we cut out like, SOMETHING, we could've coooked a 10/10.
Geats is the best of reiwa and one of the best of all time: the animal motif is cool, especially Geats is a fox which has never happened before; battle royale theme although not new, but cool cuz the last one was 20 years ago; amazing suits; the mis and match theme is on point with the "revolve on" function; CGI is pretty good; action and choreography are the best in this franchise, better than Wizard or Kabuto; interesting characters and their development; the plot twist and shifting in the story make the show so interesting to watch; banger musics; and finally a bike that just doesn't being used for 5 minutes. Geats definitely does has some down in the last arc about the plot and Suel is kinda boring as a main villain, he has no backstory, no motivation showing or whatever, he just wanna end this world. But those flaws are definitely not enough to make the overall series bad. #Geatsisthebestofreiwa #Acewithus
i liked GEATS design and NAAGO’s, after that it was meh. the first few episodes was good, then i started falling asleep and had to watch multiple times before finishing an episode 😂 also, it felt like Tycoon/Naago’s story was being told more than the ride the show’s named after.
I enjoyed Geats for what it did but man the pacing was a bit off cause there's some plot points that needed to address or just kinda forgot, Geats just felt boring and it just made me not care despite liking some aspects still like it tho just not my cup of my tea
I will always remember Keiwa and Michinaga finally reconciling while Ace did nothing, and then Neon ruining the moment by saying "As expected of Ace!". Like, b****, what!? When did Ace did anything at all!?
A little gripe of mine, I think Geats will be a much better show if we don't make it as a show with regular casts. What I mean is, obviously due to how these Toku show works IRL, Toei will cast Ace, Keiwa, Michi, etc as the regular face of the show and the production team can't have them written off from the show too long. They can do it with quest casts like Ginpen, Dapaan, Lopo etc because they are not our regular casts. If it was Ace or any of our other main characters, obviously they can't write them off or being killed at all. Case in point is during Keiwa's debut as Tycoon Ninja. Wouldn't it have been a bigger impact if Keiwa debuted a new Form and Toy but he ended up not retired but KILLED in the game. It would've given more gravity to the show because we lost our surrogate eye on the show. The way Takahashi wrote that ep made me thinks he DID plant to kill Keiwa there but obviously there are toys to sell and they can't just burn Keiwa's actor contract like that. If we remove such limitation, they can make a wild ride of a show. They can pull a Nexus where our main Rider, Ace, is killed halfway to the show and he was replaced with another MC that we need to grow in love with. It would be surprising if Michi was also the only sole survivor of our main 4 casts too. Basically, if Geats was made akin to anime where characters can freely come and go, I think it would service the show much better.

This exact moment is when I stopped, the beginning of the jyamato grand prix had me not as invested. I loved all of the previous DGP games since there was still the character focus but after desastar, I didn't enjoy it as much

Because controlling the desire drivers at this point stops all the OP powers of the riders. That would force Ace to become a god which makes him keep his powers outside of rider form.
Kamen Rider Geats is the best in Rewia so far (but I still like Zero-One). Saber and Revice have not been great in my opinion but I still watch them over Ghost. If I would rank them now it will be: 1.Geats 2.Zero-One 3.Saber 4.Revice Gotchard right now is kinda meh but with some time maybe it could improve in my ranks so I will wait until then.
The discussion video is more nicer than Zeo Agito's comment section. But yeah I might have been bothered by a few things but I still enjoyed this show nonetheless and frankly I just don't care. Yes I hate Michinaga, Beroba and Daichi. Yes I think Marry and Danpan are pointless and cookie cutter. And there are two episodes of the show I really hated but I still looked forward to the next episode and yes even the two episodes I hated I still looked forward to it.
I won't lie. I didn't feel any of the "Dragging out" at all. I finished the last episode and I went. "Wow. It's been 49 episodes?" It was like the best paced Kamen Rider show I've ever seen. I'd say it's arguably my favourite Kamen Rider show of all time. I did think Regard was a bit underwhelming. I also thought that they didn't really let the effects of Tsumuri shooting Geats actually settle. It felt like they didn't have enough time to really fully expand on the last two or episodes. I think if we had just one more episode, we could have really been able to see the desperation of all the riders without Geats' help. Regard completely wiping the floor with them to SHOW us how powerful he is. Then, at the last second, the final battle scene we got, played out as the climax. But aside from that, I think the show was as good as it could've been.
