I accidentally left click and hit him when I was feeding my dogs, so the dogs started gnawing away at him and he retaliated. Due to numerical disadvantage, Canned Spinach fell and I lost a great many of my dogs. Argh. I now never let the new ones (Canned Mackerel and Canned Peach) even leave the front gate in their duty.

I think we forgot the Knock back and range competition: who has better range and who deals more knock back. Both those elements are quite important in minecraft
