SGP is imo singularly responsible for the revival of a southern, gritty style into undergound rap during the late oughties and 10s, and was kind the figurehead of Raider Klan (Denzel Curry was also a member) he’s more of a producer than a rapper though, ‘fuck taylor gang’ on BLVCKLVND RXDIO 66.6 sounds exactly like stop breathing by carti if u listen to the 808 pattern
