Marty, I knew and worked with Bobby Hebb at The Massachusetts Highway Department in Boston for many years. To me he was the coolest cat who ever lived!!!!!! I knew him for more than twenty-five years. You did an excellent job of performing Bobby’s work!!!!!! Bravo!!!!!!!!!

This is my all time favorite song, so during the pandemic, I started teaching myself guitar (with your help and now the help of a teacher on Zoom) and of course, this is one of the first songs I tried myself. I didn't know about going up a half step each time, nor the Bond, James Bond turnaround, so back to the drawing board, but gladly. Thanks for all you do.

Incredible incredible. I just love it like I can't believe it! What a beautiful job you have done. I'm 66 years old and I bought a guitar that looks a lot like yours about 2 years ago called an Ibanez AZ 75 used from a man who had neuropathy. And I paid $380 and I'm very happy. The current model is 500. And I haven't plugged it into the amp. I don't play that often . But this is a beautiful video and I'm anxious to plug it in. It's just my belongings were not in the right place to make that happen before.

This young man has a real talent for teaching that is the ability to convey what he knows to others I have met people in industry where I work as a welder before I retired that even though they were good welders they were not good teachers to others they did not know how to convey what they knew to others even in other many fields and I will just kind of cut it short with music here for instance there are people that can play good they can play a certain song good but as far as being able to break it down easy for others and to use plain everyday language so others can understand it, they cannot convey it , but this Marty Schwartz, young man wonderful fellow that he is, to take out his time to teach others what he knows he is very gifted and talented to be able to convey what he knows in a simple way without being arrogant like many others online are because they want to use all this technical jargon and keep talking about the pentatonic scale I get so tired of hearing the words pentatonic you know I can drive a car and enjoy it without ever knowing anything about the engine and I'm not against music theory but when it comes to just showing somebody how to do something you don't have to understand nothing about music theory to play any given song if you've got somebody right in front of you just to show you how to do it and that's the quickest and fastest way I'm not against music theory but so many have become proud and arrogant with it and they feel like they have found a way with the jargon of verbal music theory to complicate things to others from learning and they feel like it's a way that they can uplift themselves and put theirselves on a pedestal because they know they can speak the jargon that no other person's going to understand right off from the beginning but you don't need to do that to impress people just do what this young man is doing break it down easy show them just how to do it and let it be at that I think Marty Schwartz being a wonderful Guy that he is got a very sweet humble personality and I hope and pray that he continues on in prosperity and peace and talent

Hey Marty.. Saw your Iridium performance of this, and it was truly amazing.
Thank you so much for all you have given to me personally and to the entire guitar community at large. I can honestly say you have made my home life and relationship better by helping me improve my playing to such a degree that me and the Mrs can sit back and I can accompany her with my playing while she sings some beautiful songs.. You have had a direct hand in making this possible for us.. so .the very most sincere...Thank you!
To that end (and I know you are overwhelmed with requests), do you think you could possibly post a lesson for "To Lay Me Down" by The Grateful Dead.. (RCMH version) This is an incredibly important and meaningful song to me and my wife (and I am sure thousands of others), but we can never quite get it, and I know you are probably the only person who could put all the pieces together for us. Not to mention, a decent quality lesson of this song is non-existent on RUclips, or anywhere for that matter. I know you are an incredibly busy guy Marty, and I already owe you so much, but I would love to give this to my wife one night, and I know you help can get me there... I am sooooo close already.. Just need a few minor speed bumps smoothed over. Thanks again for everything Marty. The absolute best teacher anywhere, and a genuine treasure to the guitar community.. TYVM..

When you posted the first video of you and James doing this fun song, when you hit those James Bond notes I had visions of the intro of Sean Connery spinning around in a crouch position pointing his gun.
