6:30 If anyone not able to constrain the point and surface (in extract) in assembly. Then constrain the point and any line in the surface and update then the point lies on the surface with offset zero. then delete the constrain (without moving the mount away then it lies on the surface). Then go to kinematic simulation. it works fine :)

Nice explanation. Unfortunately I cannot set the coincidence constrain if the cam is cylindrical, Catia always selects the axis, not the surface. Everything right with other shaped surface.
If you extract the surface from part, it should be easy to do. Also try not to make the surface as a part of complete circle which CATIA keeps putting the point into the center of. Hope it helps.
I am not able to extract the surface in the PartBody tree. My catia produced a geometrical set ever and ever again. I can select the point from the pin but never the extracted surface. Has anyone an idea?
