What she's saying reminds me of a fundamental in islamic way of thinking about anything happens to a person good or bad. As a muslim I believe that whatever happens to me is happening for me, because good things are gifts in this life and bad things when faced with patience, acceptance and courage are gifts for the afterlife 🥰
This was absolutely amazing! I'm so glad I was able to attract this video to my viewing! Great message and brought more peace to my spirit as I'm preparing to become a mother, protector, and guardian of my first child. Thank you Doctor for sharing your findings and wisdom and creating more consciousness in the world!!
Wonderful messages, Dr. Tsabary. Thank you for adding your strong voice to those clamouring for change in the way we guide our children on their individual paths.
So profound, I lost my brother 10 years ago aged 28, I spent a long time beating myself up about it, as you say it took me to go inside and see the good in the experience and what can I learn from the experience and use it to make a difference in the world. Blessings, love and light for sharing your insights. xxx
Thank you so much for your content! I love it. Do you have the reading/book list that you mentioned (1:00:52) online somewhere like maybe on your website?? 💖
@ 47:24 I loughed so much !!! When she said you need to take your 13 or 14 y.o. child and say : "listen, your mom is kind of crazy " 😄😄😄 Its like dynamite to your own awareness, First- you got to point of life where you are aware that you are crazy, and Second-you are so brave that you can admit it without shame... Believe me I know people in their 80's and still are affraid to admit to anybody ( own son, friends, etc. ) that Truth
Great video! I love her but I would like to hear how she would explain a baby or toddler born with or developing a terrible disease ? how she/he would have attracted it based on her shadow , what shadow can a newborn or 2 yrs old have? any insights?
my mom posted this on her facebook, not sure which one of the three she was referring to with this but I couldn't make it through this. It felt like the bad essays I wrote as a child, a weak thesis, and a prolonged and unclear first paragraph. that's where I stop. I'm sure she may have finished strong; but for doing TED talks, which I listen to a great deal, her presentation was lacking. If anyone has another link for her speech at a different venue that isn't purposely over extended trying to last longer for time constraints i'm more than willing to watch.
Gretchen Pike wouldn’t there be parenting books to offer solutions on actual parenting techniques? She did mention allowing and cultivating the ability for your child to feel painful emotions
Thank You, Dr. Shefali
I saw her on Oprah re-runs; she's amazing. Her books should be required reading for all prospective parents.

That “not good enough” part at @35:00 reminded me of Louise Hay speaking on the very same topic. So true.

She has all this hype until it’s actual time to deliver solutions.
