First thing that came to mind for me. People might think "oh there's so many people in even just one city, it will probably never happen" but there are ARE cases where this has happened. And you can obviously imagine how traumatic something like that is. There are sperm banks that have limits, but unfortunately, there's no set law saying you can only donate a certain number of times. Though doing it on your own like this, I can't believe that's legal, but then again idk what you'd really argue in court against it.

Imo this is different from that SVU episode (Banged) because Kyle kind of seems to treat this as a hobby and has mostly transactional relationships with the women, whereas in the episode, John Stamos' character is basically a philanderer seducing and coercing a bunch of women into having his babies, that he supports financially and claims but isn't an active father for, and he really wants to pass on his genes. Basically I feel like Kyle is more upfront about what it is while also being someone you would never want to associate with after the donation, whereas the character was more deceptive. I'm not sure what Kyle's motives are because the dude is super weird, but it seems to me like he mostly does this because he thinks it makes him a hero to all these women 🙄 and, more importantly, because it's the only way he can get laid or possibly even speak to women lol
There's a bit of a breeding kink but this is also called a "hitler complex", I think there are ideas of survival of the fittest, so if I pass on a lot of genes I'm the best, logic like that. In a way, one guy doing it is a drop in the ocean. However if this became a thing, then it would be a huge threat to the genetic health and integrity of the human race.

The partner ended up getting a divorce and the lady with a baby sued the donor for child support and she won.
