Thanks for the comment. The prices are an average range Nationwide. The prices actually vary wildly depending on the tree branch structure, the access to the tree and obstacles such as power lines, fences and sheds. The video is to give customers with no idea what tree removal costs, a rough idea of what they might expect to pay.

Have you ever priced out a tree job by taking down the tree, stump grinding, chipping, and cleanup?

He didn't say his price. And because some of us need to know. There is enough business for them it won't matter.

For 2-500 dollars I can buy a chainsaw. Maybe if I lived in a suburb or in neighborhood but I wouldn’t pay that.

National avgs. Of course, in the middle of nowhere, without obstacles, prices will vary significantly...

You wont, because you can do it, but there are people that cam not or do not want to risk their lives. Or you are over 60 and can be too damgerous for them.

There are 1000 variables. Region (CoL of area), hazards/property underneath (do things need to be roped. Does EVERYTHING need to be roped), equipment needed, climbing or bucket, how many workers you need to complete it, does the wood stay or get hauled out, how far is your dump spot, and on and on. A big one is, you get what you pay for. I tell people, I won't be your cheapest bid, but you're not going to have to worry about getting things broken, me showing up on time, unsafe work practices, etc. Hire half price Harry with no insurance and tell me how it goes.
On the other hand, it isn't a bad video when speaking in VERY GENERAL TERMS, but the problem is a homeowner seeing it and wondering why their tree costs 3k instead of 1k without realizing their septic tank is under it, it's dead and rotted and therefore, more dangerous, its 4ft from the powerlines, and you have to drag everything 100 yards to get it to the chipper because there is no access for a vehicle. The problem with saying what a tree SHOULD COST to get removed is that every tree and situation is different. Too many factors to consider.

You’re risking your life cutting trees. You pay for how dangerous it is to do the job plus how much all the equipment costs. Pro saws are 1-1500 dollars and even more expensive. Chippers and trucks can easily cost 50,000 plus
