My first concert ever was Anita's in KL. It was in 1975, I think. Then I went to the US to further my studies and saw her in her show at the Ceasars Palace Casino in Las Vegas in 1986. Then I happened to move to Las Vegas and lived three miles from her house. I love her. No other Malays can do what she has done in the entertainment world. Have not of her lately. I know it's hard for Malays to be like her because of the religious landscape in Malaysia. Well, I am still in the USA.

She called me on June 23, 2021. She is doing fine, still with Abg Mahathir, has quit singing and enjoy cooking, taking care of Abg Mahathir and playing with dirt (gardening).
