The freckles look very realistic. Trust me as a lifelong freckle owner, they are little brown dots of various sizes all over the face, you don't get a choice when they're on the tip of your nose or makes your eyeliner look too wide!

The last part of your comment made me laugh. Fellow lifelong freckle owner here. Definitely don’t get to choose how they are distributed unfortunately. I have some freckles that always make my eyeliner and one eyebrow look wonky. Also if you divided the bulb of my nose into two vertical halves then one side is covered beautifully with freckles while the other half has two fairly/relatively big patches that have NO freckles. I can never un-see it. It’s so irritating but I don’t think anyone really notices it other than me (or rather no one has agreed with me on it yet 🧐)

Awww! Thank you for trying out those hacks. With the Stila eyeliner, perhaps if it was completely dried out, it may have worked. The moisture expanded the applicator, that's why it was so hard to get out and back in again.

I know this video is old, so you may not see this or you may know already, but there’s a better way to do that highlighter hack. What you’d need to do is put the product on the sponge (or brush) first and then spray it with water or setting spray! If you do it directly in the pan, you’ll ruin it, just like you said you might. The result is something called “hardpan”.
