Well a fun fact my mom grew up listening to stories by Hans Christian Anderson (YES the same person who did the original Little Mermaid) cause her mom got a collection of his stories through a friend at church I just got the normal North American stories with my childhood

There was this one time my friend let me stay over when we were kids and his parents told us a horror story for a bedtime story his freaking older evil brothers heard the story and decided to play out the dang story! It scared me and my friend to death quite literally our hearts wouldn't stop pounding hard cause in the story it went like this if I can remember Or part of it Their once was a man named grim he wore a black robe with a skeleton in his hand (skeleton skull) if you didn't behave your parents he'd come in and pull you under your bed and drag you into a hidden place under ground and he'd torture you. That's as much as I can remember can't remember how he tortured them but my friends brothers pulled us literally under the bed and scared me and my friend!
My dad told us a made-up story of his. It included a mythical creature, not specifying the name, but it was a half-man half-horse creature, but it is not a centaur. It is humanoid, has a horse head for a head, and its eyes look like they are about to pop out. It had no effect on me and my little brother, but it really took a toll on my little sister though-
My childhood was great... Until my biological mother died of colon cancer in 2018. My step mom after that then discriminated me and did unspeakable things that I don't wish to explain here. As someone without a motherly figure and a shattered mental state, it makes me cry when I see this video.
