I like Ali's realistic portrayal of Cash, a fiesty, money-driven, single mom in DBZ - so uncouth and annoying yet funnily likable and charming. It's a 180° change from the stylish corporate executive and respected legal/medical professional roles that she'd played previously. Ali shines in comedy which, in my mind, is way more challenging than performing drama. Watching Cash's interactions with Zero (Moses), Charlie (Timothy), her mom and son, and flatmates etc., has indeed been a fabulous lighthearted treat. The strong chemistry between Ali and Moses is obvious too - this pair remains one of my favorite onscreen couples in recent times.
