I read a good tweet about this break situation, but I can't really remember how it went. something along the lines of them not even being at their best (aka they're probs gonna get even bigger) they want to work hard and achieve things. if it came to that I'm sure they would tell their management they need a break. I want them to have the rest they need as well, but when you're at the top or on your way there you need to work hard for a while to stay there/reach it. and someone said they passed the idol olympic thing this year? they're leaving some things out I'm sure, but new things will come thanks to their success. and tbh they might actually enjoy working so much that even tho they sometimes look tired, they are still fine bc they love what they do so much. harry from one direction said he had to make himself take a month long break between one direction (after their hiatus started) and his solo stuff bc he likes working so much, but they hadn't had time off in 4-5 years. I have a feeling it might be the same thing for bts. obviously for their health they need to make sure they get some sort of rest every now and then but I'm sure they have some day offs in between their schedule :-)
