y'all see him try to use the Samsung button on the iphone?😂😂 5:40
Marco Olea 😂😂
he was trying to use page button on iphone bullshit
music plz!
Marco Olea haha yea
Marco Olea 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just one detail. We're comparing a dual core vs a octa. Jus think about it .
tulio melo pentru ca 2 nuclee de la iPhone face cât 8 nuclee de la samsung :)))
Which means absolutely nothing if you know anything about how CPUs work. Just think about it.
dude i just wanna say always on point with the reviews man not like others who just read specs of a sheet of paper and call it a day i love how u do speed test and camera tests and so on
keep up the good work mate
Watching it on my new iPhone 6s :d
haha
im watching it on my computer
+Ann just Ann I'm watching it in my nokia.
watcing it on my samsung galaxy s6 now
me too!!
It was back and forth between both. In real world usage, you wouldn't notice though. Both are great devices and I'm happy Samsung finally closed the gap between iPhone's and Galaxy's in terms of speed.
Yeah, they are both fast
lol cool joke.
+aliawesome12fab Get off my post if you're going to be an idiotic fanboy.
+D33M0N3Y lol calm down kiddo. I do what I like, and im not being a "fanboy". it's simply the truth ^_^
+aliawesome12fab "simply the truth"
So what you're saying is that one of those phones is slower than the other? That's a lie. Both are very smooth and swift. Like I said, in real world usage, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
when your talking milliseconds or having to retap a button, on either iOS or android, that's not a big issue. Both are fast as hell, premium and work well. It comes down to user preference, if you like force touch (which to me seems a little gimmicky), if you want an AMOLED display with amazing screen quality, if you want amazing cameras (which both have). it's comes down to the software here. I'm an avid Android user so I much prefer it, how ever I think more iOS users need to start giving Android a try, or vice versa. Both are great, I personally think Android is more capable out of the box but that doesn't mean iPhones are bad
+Nic_Nak_Nic Nicholas I personally think iOS is much smoother out of the box, and stays smooth for years with consistent updates. You see, with the games on iOS, you tap the icon and it goes straight to the load screens smoothly, yet Android hangs a bit and then does weird rotation animations then starts loading. Apps usually get updated quicker and are better on iOS as well. iOS is much more consistent, and it also has things like iMessage and FaceTime. Everything is seamless, smoother, and more consistent on iOS, yet it's much more customizable and open on Android.
+Pootberd true but there are also a large variety of apps that iOS is not able to get because of its restrictions on the software side. My Android is around a year and a half old an still running as good as it did when I first got it. I'm not overly sure about the odd rotation animations your talking about, mine opens up without anything strange happening. Start up speed on Androids can be slow, but that also depends on which phone. You have to remember, there are many varieties of the Android ROM. Each manage RAM a little different from one another so to say that they all don't open as smoothly is false since it changes from phone to phone.
Again, you say iOS device's just stay more consistent.. I'd have to greatly disagree on that. Quite a few of my friends have iphones. 2 of them have the iPhone 5s, both got theirs around the same time that I got my current Android. Both of their phones are terrible now. They lag, apps crash, 2nd party apps open much slower then the stock apps that come loaded onto the device, battery life it horrendous on them. Again I'll remind you, they both got theirs when I got my Android and my phone is holding up much better. Hell I even have mine rooted and running 3rd party apps, recovery, kernel etc. things that people typically think would slow down a phone, yet its still doing perfectly fine. You would be correct if you were comparing Androids from 4-3 years ago, or budget Androids. (putting aside old Samsung phones running previous versions of touchwiz).
It's different now. Androids don't fall apart like they use to. Android 5.X+ is much better optimized compared to previous versions. Many iOS users have this idea that Android is still how it was 3 years ago. I experienced both iOS and Android from a few years ago, I can compare from what I have experienced and as of now, and the soon release of Android M. Things are much different, much smoother and overall, the OS is much more capable then iOS
+Pootberd Also I wouldn't use iMessage or facetime. I don't video chat, nor do I have a need to use iMessage since a majority of my friends Now have Androids. I much prefer being able to download my own messaging app from a huge selection available on the Google play store
Nic_Nak_Nic Nicholas Sure, Android is bounds better for advanced users that love tinkering with everything, but for most people who just want a smartphone to take pictures, use apps, send messages, make calls, and use social media, an iPhone works great.
Having all that crashing isn't normal. Maybe they should try making an iTunes backup, and wipe their phones, and then restore the backups, or go to the Apple store for some help.
Nic_Nak_Nic Nicholas FaceTime is useful for me, and it's not just video, but Facetime Audio calls are extremely clear. FaceTime also has much better video quality than all other video chatting apps in my experience. iMessage is also useful for people who want something that intergrates well with SMS and iMessage, with read notifications, audio messages, picture and video sending with less MMS compression, and in my situtation, texting people who use iPods and iPads.
Man both these phones are blazing fast
Ye there is no doubting that.
If it's red you wanna continue saying is black, if you know what I mean!
Take note iPhone doesn't have beastly specs like Samsung yet it still runs so smooth
+John De Leon please try to purchase an iPhone more than 16 GB with contract. I have to pay 570$ plus tax for a 64 GB version with two years contract.
+John De Leon no the iphone also has a beastly specs it has apple A9 its not a beast ? and 2 gb ram ddr4
The S6 is running *4 times the amount pixels* but yet still can keep up and even faster at some points than the iphone 6s... just shows you that touchwiz ain't no joke anymore
+Ali Games I'm sure he meant exactly what he typed kappa
screen res has nothing to do with app opening speed and multitasking. it matters only in gaming..lol, excuses as always
+Richard Wagner It's quite exactly the contrary, actually: when gaming, the resolution is often lowered to 1080p, so the Galaxy S6 only has to manage twice as many pixels as the iPhone 6s. But in the interface, on the browser, the apps, etc., everything is rendered in QHD, so the GPU always has to calculate 4 times as many pixels as the iPhone. Yet, it's equally fast in every app.
+Ross Wingo ..Then check out an iphone 6s Plus vs Note 5 speed test. 6s plus renders everything at 2208x1242 and downscales it to 1080p... iphone will win anyways, even in multitasking. then come back and try to explain how that could happen
+Richard Wagner
Wtf are you saying lol.
renders in 2208x1242 and downscales it to 1080p?
Explain yourself better first before trying to tell others to explain something that you yourself wouldnt even understand anyways.
All that power of the Samsung... And it just keeps up with the 6s and has to reload apps up again
+DHJ82 this is all marketing, why put all those pixels and all that ram if your device is not going to perform better, they want to sell you an empty house, beautiful on the outside and empty in the inside!
I like how you removed your comment, so all that beautiful screen needs all that power?
And what for? I have a 4K tv And i honestly think it pointless right now
I don't give crap about a beautiful screen, doesn't do me much for daily basis
+DHJ82 even with 4 times more pixel in the S6 do you notice the difference in normal use?also in some case the iphone display doesn't have that kind of line when camera shoot at the phone ( sor for horrible english)
yeaap it reloads them, but not a big deal bc it loads them fast as well
+Matthew Lau that has something to do with the AMOLED screen, that happens when the cam used for recording has lower framerate than the phone, and that is a pretty good advantage, you can't see it with your bare eyes though
Having used both devices and being a heavy user , the iphone deals with full storage and ram management much much better , to the point sometime even unlocking the phone on samsung can be laggy
Samsung may have 4 gigs of ram, but it looks like they're only utilizing 1gb of that
Lol
It's because the operating system uses half of the ram if not more from the get go.
+TopToad the s6 has 3gigs of RAM
Yeah, but their newest phones have 4
Either way iPhone faster
The smoothness and application management of the iPhone is superior, but I just bought the S6 International Version about 5 minutes ago since I found it on Amazon for only a little over $500. I'd say the price/performance ratio of the S6 is better than the iPhone.
There is an option in the development mode of checking the background process, it would have been set to a limit..I THINK!
I'm an Apple fan but Samsung fix your RAM!
Look at samsung resolution compared to iphone 6s, it has too push more pixels and stuff compared to iphone also samsung has ddr4 3gb ram and its not a fresh phone its about 6months old.
+Synimosh. ExpogramHD (Synimosh) But still. S6 has the best Android hardware right now. Even a year old Nexus 6 with 1440p screen and ddr3 3 GB RAM can handle multi tasking better than S6. They should just use stock Android and throw in useful features like Multi window and S apps.
+Harpratap Singh layal (Harry) stock android looks quite shit compared to the latest Samsung touch wiz. Samsung needs to make there phones smooth and quick. It has overkill specs but it doesnt run smoothly together. A9 chip runs sooo smoothly. Exynos 7420 is good but not smooth and quick. Samsung needs to try a different method
+Harpratap Singh layal (Harry) they need o fix ram management
+Synimosh. ExpogramHD (Synimosh) iphone is smooth because you can't do shit to it there's not briefing, you cant customize the homescreen. when i make my homescreen just all apps like iphone, turn off briefing, then it's smooth.
when will samsung rectify this shitty annoying RAM management ? :(
***** I've been waiting from 2 years. Btw multitasking is better on my grand 2 than the s4
+Yash Sharma it's actually a plus since running apps drain power.
Dimitar Iliyanov relaunching the apps takes more battery logically, not resuming it.
Yash Sharma no it doesn't still you can truly multitask on the s6 unlike on the 6s.
You are mistaken, I've used an S6 extensively and it reloads heavy apps when there are about 5-6 apps in memory which is a pain in the ass. I'll link you a video
Yeah, the RAM management issue on the S6 can be a bit annoying at times, but I really wonder how much of it has to do with the apps themselves. Several of those apps worked just fine (usually the better designed apps like Instagram). How much of it is just poorly coded apps? Aside from that, this is pretty much the first review I've ever seen that actually acknowledges differences in the work the phones have to do (for instance the galaxy s6 having a whole lot more work to do graphically than the iPhone). Its nice to see that someone actually picked up on the fact that speed isn't everything, that sometimes the phone manufacturer made a compromise to bring something better to the consumer (in this case, image quality).
I read all the comments and some android fans are pissed hahaha 2 cores vs 8 cores Amazing isn't it? Haha
This video was in the TouchWiz days
Now try comparing the One UI to iOS
Kojo K still ios is better bro
@@itsmeh6860 okay?
Kartic Chaudhary has highlighted a very important factor actually. after you install a few apps in your phone and you go to the Apps manager and check your running applications.
Everything you see there is actually taking space in Ram and Cpu, where as brand new device would have very less apps running in background.
what are people complaining about oh the samsung has way more pixels and some times its faster hey did you also forget it has more ram and 4x the cores iPhone 6s is beating the samsung with 2 cores vs 8 even when the iphone is better people still bash on it im not saying its perfect and im not fanboying when the s7 will come out it will be better buy when apple does it right you gotta give them credit cmon
Both of these phone are beastly! Would love to have any of them. Another great video, keep it up.
fuck ram management all that power that the iPhone 6s has and still can't out perform a six month old device SMH...lol
Don't you have eyes?
You android fans CANT take a loss lmao iPhone has 2 cores and 2gb of ram while the s6 has 8cores and 3gb of ram and it still beat the s6, try another excuse
Lol, octa core 3gb ram vs dual core 2gb
Outcome= s6 reloads the apps during multitasking
+Kyle Justin GG get rekt 😂
human being beat what it's still fast as the iPhone and won. The only place it lost is ram management that's it
I sold my S6 Edge because it slowed down quite fast after installing more and more...never had those problems on my iphone 4, moving back to iphone.
iPhone is definitely faster and waaaay more optimized
How when apple uses sung things to make there phones
Hey Saf, did you get the Note 5 yet? I was looking around for a video of the Note 5 from you and can't seem to find one.
seriously? does anybody care that any device is 0.5 second quicker on loading website or unlocking home screen ?
+Streetway ST Yes.
If the Samsung was faster than the iPhone you'd be caring a lot though and using that against us "iSheep".
+Streetway ST No actually. Of the 273,401 people whom, to date have viewed this video. Not a single one of them cared which phone is quicker.
exactly fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow safe has really been at this for quite a while now this is just consistency...
won camera test and now speed test :) great year for apple :) waiting for my hands on... :)
the s6 won the camera test
Lua Lavatai are you talking to me?
Yeah I prefer the iPhone but it was clear the s6 won the camera test .
+Lua Lavatai ok good then we are on the same page
+SASI KUMARR apple is always winning the "phone war" if they release a new phone. The s6 is half a year old, long time in modern tech.
When s7 comes out, it will be better as the iphone 6s again, just because it will use 6 month newer technogoly.
Man ur idea of visualization to make comparisons video is grt!
3GB RAM and functioned like a 1GB phone..
But 8 GB ram with flaghsip chipset (865) more cheaper than 3 GB ram on iphone with A13 (SE).
@@satriaid4402 for example?
@@Hwaism mi 10T vs SE 2020
@@satriaid4402 Yes you are right. any more?
@@Hwaism poco f2
Finally someone unbiased. Do u think the reloading had to do with the resolution too or only ram management. Also would love to see the iPhone 6s plus vs Samsung Note 5.
6s still faster
iOS optimization magic, can't beat it :)
Cool vid bro. Are you a Leiceister City fan?
muh 8 corez
muh 3gb ram*
muh 1440p display
lmao Apple always wins baby
+ynos254 8 cores? It's 2 quad cores. 1 fast quad core and 1 low power quad core. The S6 can ONLY use ONE quad core at a time.
But that doesn't matter mate. What matters is real world performance ;) I don't care what the specs are, it just has to work fine ;) Screen does matter though
+ynos254 Ram is 3 GB
More like 3 gbs of ram
The S6 has to push out twice as many pixels with the 1440p screen (2K Display), it's still on par with the iPhone 6S speeds. Both devices are fast.
Ya imagine a s6 with a 750p display like the iphone 6s
Awesome, really nice fair test. Justly done Saf! iPhone 6 S has an amazing iOS, their software is really I tuned with their hardware. Where as the Android still needs work to be done. Would love to see this same speed test on the new Nexus.
both are lightning fast. no doubt. it's quite amazing how iOS can take advantage of weak hardware, however, costomization and freedom is sacrificed, so imma stick with Android.
***** maybe if samsung knew how to take advantage of their beast hardware by removing TouchWiz, which I don't even use, I use nova.
One thing apple knows how to do is optimize. If iOS ran on an S6, it would be the fastest phone of all time, but it's heavily modified android and beautiful display bring it down to on par with the iPhone.
***** Makes sense.
congrats on getting over 200k subscribers
Oh wow the iphone is 1.3 seconds faster, I shall now buy it!
Haven't read any comments, so my apologies if this has been said: what this type of subjective observational test fails to account for are things like Ui animation settings (transitions, fade in/out, etc) and other similar Ui/Ux DESIGN elements which impact the apparent "speed" of the device. Apple is notorious for intentionally slowing down the flow of the user interface with ridiculous transitional animation. I say this as an iphone user (6S Plus, currently) who has owned every model of iphone since launch, minus the 3GS and the 6 plus (had the 6 though). This is one of many reasons I MUST have a jailbroken iphone, and immediately install "noslowanimations". A Cydia-hosted tweak which allows you to adjust the artificially slowed-down transitions between apps, and home screens, and other animated transitions. I use it at about 33 (33% of original stock transitions length) and it still feels smooth and slick (as opposed to doing away with any transition, which feels fast but jerky
You should have used the s6 edge
+ because of the 4gb of ram but still good video I'm an android fan but I feel like the 6s is the best phone out right now
+Emmanuel Doku I agree with....The 6s is the best phone out there at the moment..to be specific the 6s plus.
***** its just that ios is a little but smoother and the a9 chip is pretty powerful but s6 is good too
for me it's note 5 and s6. just because something just barely came out don't mean it's the best.
im considering getting a oneplus two (invite is not a problem), but is the customer service off putting and did you have any issues with your unit?
ronaldo vs messi? samsung vs iphone? the same question. ronaldo does the skill he has by the muscle power but messi does the same job by inteligence and the little bit of muscle. ronaldo's poor mind need more muscle power but messi's inteligent mind need a little muscle power. problem solved. which one do you prefer?
Ronaldo. 😂
So iphones wins
Samsungs RAM management is really weird. Even when they're faster opening things than other Android flagships like the M9, as soon as you go back through apps, even if it had plenty of free RAM, you find they decided to boot things out of RAM. Most other Android phones do far better with that much RAM.
+tipoomaster It's how android does it's multitasking... they should take a hint from apple... ios freezes any apps in the background, while android does not, any app stays open in the background.. it's just like a computer.. this is why android phones have to be more powerfull to run all that.. android allows any apps it wants to autostart on it's own in the background, so even if you stopped candy crush, it will just restart back in the background... this is why your android phone is going to slow down.. if android did multitasking like ios does, no one would complain about the lag... main complaint about any android phone is the lag.. even so look at how many apps a galaxy s6 can have open without lagging... if you had multitasking on a iphone now like android does, that iphone would be dead laggy with just a few apps open...
iPhone 6s sorry samsung :'(
That's a great video, man. I always marveled at how well Apple used the hardware that it had. It makes sense seeing as to how they don't put crazy numbers of cores and whatnot in their devices and they just recently upgraded to 2 gigs of RAM. The fact that their two cores totally competes with 8 cores from Samsung is amazing, even if it is a slightly smaller screen. Still, if Samsung just fixed that RAM issue they'd be sitting high. I wonder what's actually causing that because 3 gigs of RAM is a significant amount that you'd think would be great for multi-tasking.
6s plus vs s6 edge plus !!!
S6 edge is the same as normal s6
+Demsar Mat s6 has 3gb of ram s6 edge plus has 4.
+Demsar Mat There is a difference between S6 Edge and S6 Edge +. I kid not. S6 Edge has a 5.1 inch screen, S6 Edge + has a 5.7inch screen and a 3000mah battery. S6 Edge + also has 4GB RAM unlike the S6/S6 Edge that have 3GB.
+Zeeshan Bilal I thought it was the note 5 that has 4gb of ram? while the s6 & s6 edge has 3gb of ram..
no, the note 5 and edge plus both have 4g of ram
congrats bro for 200000+ subs :) ;)
i always find this type of test to be stupid. One phone is used for like a month and other one is just fresh.
+kartic chaudhary both of them are flagships. They need to last for atleast 1 or 2 years.
+kartic chaudhary I wouldn't be at all surprised if he bought a new S6 for this video
But 2 cores vs 8 cores?
+John De Leon s6 4 times resolution?
Gyumin Shin Is there a connection with the resolution to cores?
Hey bro can you compare z5 premium and iphone 6s.....both have dope cameras
GG iPhone you demolished s6
dude iphone 6s run on 750p and galaxy s6 run on 2k
+james bob dude Galaxy s6 has 8 cores
Hard to compare phones this way. Depends on if you like speed or quality. If one likes a high resolution quality picture, it will take longer to load on that device. Like comparing times at a fast food restaurant VS a nice sit down fancy restaurant, depends on what you like.
iPhone iPhone iPhone iPhone
Fanboy fanboy fanboy
yeah i am
Have you ever considered buying anything else than iphones?
+patrik streng no have you considered buying an iphone?
i have one
Also notice In the game test that he did the iPhone had a puddle that was absent on the S6.....iPhones have amazing GPUs
+Eric Melendez dead trigger defaults to medium style graphics for any high end phones. If he had upped the graphics in the settings you would've seen more than just the puddle.
Iphone is beast
I don't know if I would call it a ram management problem per se but moreso just a showcase of the differences in multitasking management by ios and Android. The Samsung can still do multi window and have minimized apps all on and functioning at the screen at the same time.
who need 10 apps open?
+Denis Müller thats called multitasking and i need 10 apps open when im working. :p
+Denis Müller I'm the type that doesn't ever close apps so I usually have at least 20+ apps in background on my iPhone.
+Denis Müller That's how phones are meant to be used? Having all your apps open in the ram. It saves battery.
According to 3Dmark benchmark app the iPhone 6s is currently the top smartphone only bypassed by a few tablets/computers convertibles. iPhone 6s has a score of 27829 followed by Galaxy s6 edge + with 24049
Pretty sure it's an Android memory management issue, not Samsung.
There both to blame. That's why people say android suck. They have there reasons but it's a miss understanding. Apple makes 80% of there hardware and 100% software so they can integrate it with no issue while android (the OS) has to match what Samsung makes (hardware) so they clash on optimization.
+KiLLeRTOUCHDOWN151 u sir are 100% true
+Cody Engel no problem of RAM managment on LG G4...
+KiLLeRTOUCHDOWN151 which is why Android sucks. It's playing out how Windows did. I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing malware being pre installed on these phones so the OEMs can turn a profit.
+Cody Engel You're not wrong. But to add to my original comment, Android is an open source type of software (Allowing people to modify it AKA Customizations) so it has open cracks in its software letting viruses and other programs to control and manage the OS (The apps you download could make your Android OS it's bitch). But Apple is the best company compared to Samsung because Apple makes there own phones and created there own software and they have there own app store. Samsung makes there own phones but they bandwagon with android because they can't make their own OS and there apps store failed hard, and the apps are laggy and slow down your device (talking from experience).
Odd i see your point why touchid is faster than samsung's finger print unlock. But I suspect IOS is using animations to distract users away from the actual loading time until the phone is ready to be used. Minus the animation from IOS, both phones may be similar in unlocking via finger print to usability.
sir apple is apple and android is android
apple is king and the android is mantri
It's really annoying that Samsung didn't alter the RAM management on the S6 considering a quick fix you can find on XDA does the trick...
SAMSUNG f---- ripped of iOS Safari browser too :O Go home SHITSUNG
+Himanshu Jagtap It's how android does it's multitasking... they should take a hint from apple... ios freezes any apps in the background, while android does not, any app stays open in the background.. it's just like a computer.. this is why android phones have to be more powerfull to run all that.. android allows any apps it wants to autostart on it's own in the background, so even if you stopped candy crush, it will just restart back in the background... this is why your android phone is going to slow down.. if android did multitasking like ios does, no one would complain about the lag... main complaint about any android phone is the lag.. even so look at how many apps a galaxy s6 can have open without lagging... if you had multitasking on a iphone now like android does, that iphone would be dead laggy with just a few apps open...
Ashraaf __ LOL not every app keeps running in BG in Android😁
Any ways...my comment is about ripping off. I won't to waste my time discussing anything else
I'm really really surprised that Samsung is catching up with iphones speed..that's really a good thing..
the speed test was great but I personally think these micro seconds differences won't matter much or won't be that much noticeable for a common user in day to day life..
overall great video👍
i think galaxy s6 is better
ofcouse cause ur a iphone hater
its better with nougat and marshmallow u ignorant kids
(...Continued) and the phone feels LIGHTNING fast. All those app launch tests and login tests etc, would look totally different. Same goes for Samsung I'm sure. Last one I owned was the s4, and I know it benefitted from enabling android's developers menu, and adjusting animations to .5 or so.
Anyway the point is that a lot of perceived slowness can actually be attributed to Ui design choices made by the software team. In apple's case, it's often due to their tenacious and stubborn desire to give all users a very similar experience, regardless of iphone model. Those syrupy animations on a 6s plus do help to level the experience plane when comparing with an iphone 5 or 5s. Just wanted to hopefully bring some other angle t the discussion.
Can you make with an Android devices without bad ram management issues ? Like the LG G4 or the futur Xperia Z5, thanks, I like your work
the S6 may have more RAM on paper but what is actually avaliable is about the same as the iPhone 6s. My Tab S 10.5 has 3GB of RAM but when I go into active apps with nothing open 2.23GB is being used on the OS so I basically have less than 1GB of RAM too use. This just shows that more specs and stuff wont actually mean better performance if it isnt optimized which is where samsung fail. I'm more of an apple guy for phones but samsung for tabs ( well not the recent ones like the Tab S2 ) so I'm giving an unbiased opinion on the matter.
The ipad pro is going to be a beast
+Erik Rodriguez Yup it’s a beast! It’s so freakin’ big.
Summary - both phones are fast enough. SuperSarf is the man !
These two phones should have a baby. Imagine the efficiency of iOS on the powerful hardware of the Samsung... :O
I've seen those ram issues on my gs6 too. Sometimes doesn't even keep the previous app in memory. Really annoying...
Hi! Are you using a theme on the S6? Looks like the Note 5.
You can really only tell the difference if you have them side by side. And even then its only a trade off between the two of about half a second to one second. The big difference between the two has always been that one gives you more freedom on your phone (android) while the other is much more restricted (apple, which makes them extremely stable/dependable).
Personally I like to have more control over the aesthetics, media, access and apps I use on my device so I prefer android. Then again the vast majority of smart phone users have no idea what the capabilities are of their devices and don't realize their limitations until they discover their phone can't do what their friends can. So it really doesn't matter for most which OS they choose.
that 2GB makes a difference on the 6s - Apple should have put 2GB in the 6 and 6 Plus last year... trying these same tests with a 6 Plus.. everything reloads
Great video 📹
👍
RAM Management section is thoughtful
@saif...how will you get new icons for s6 ?
Another thing to note is that Android redraws the enntire screen when you put it on landscape. So regardless of whether the app was present in RAM or not, it will always reload if you minimize from potrait and maximize in landscape.
While i appreciate the video most of these tests don't really mean much. its basically an adroid vs ios speed test video. other than the ram manamgement. you have on mobile os (ios) which is completely built in house while you have android which is an open OS that isn't as dedicated to as the team working on the iOS. When you have a team paid by apple to create a great mobile OS the work will show for it while android has a team of part timers who probably don't get paid much or do the work for free, you can see the outcome. Android is kind of like a side project, while the iOS is constantly being maintained and worked on.
The phones are similar in speed but iOS is clearly the superior mobile OS. I own a macbook, ipad air 2, and a galaxy s6 so I am in no way bias. The speed tests were so minimal in difference I don't think theirs a reason to switch based on these tests alone.
Good video by the way and I appreciate you taking the time to film it!
i believe samsung has great hardware, e.g. camera, processor, screen. But its the software that kills the experience for me. Considering that the iPhone 6s has 2gb of Samsung LPDDR 4 ram. iOS is just that better optimized.
+Adnan jeilani dont forget that Samsung has 8 cores and Iphones only 2.
Shaban Krasniqi that's exactly my point. And it's still not enough to run as smooth an ios
+Shaban Krasniqi even though it has 8 cores doesn't mean it uses all them it uses just 2 for simple Apps.
EddyGraphic it uses 8 everytime. and he tested games too so there is no excuse
I wish people would do tests while running many apps and not restarting the phone for a while, I personally never restart thing often or shutdown them.
Did anybody notice when he opened the Dead Trigger 2 game, the 6s had all the special effects like water and reflections on the ground and the S6 didn't? What good is that higher resolution if the GPU can't handle all the games special effects and shuts them off and it still lagged behind the 6s?
Nice one 👏 RAM management on iOS ecosystem is much better than that of Android.
how about a comparison between GS6+ or NOTE 5 to the iPhone 6s or 6+ that would be more fair considering
A. They were all launched on the same month
B. The Note and S6+ would make the iPhones seem like phones from 1990
The Samsung Galaxy s6 its very goodly, coming up Tizen OS will bring better performance
For some reason when doing a speed test, the iPhones and galaxy s devices are always close
Great vid :) appreciate it :)
You make the best phone vidoes keep it up (:
whats your iPhone 6s soC,Samsung or tsmc?
I think Samsung optimized the RAM management of the Note 5 and the S6 Edge+
+SUPERSAF How did you get the new icons from the note 5 to your S6.?
+Jayzon Maputi the s6 recently received a software update which, among other things, adds note 5 icons to s6.
srgg1 right
+srgg1 Is it the marshmallow update?
+Dr. Legend, marshmallow will begin rolling out no sooner than Jan 2016 for samsung phones.
Does keeping apps in ram open eat battery life? Because if it does it would make sense to shut the app down to save battery.
great to see that inside specs don't say everything. It is nice to have more RAM memory, the iphone has 1 GB less then the samsung and still the iphone can compete. Looks like apple really optimizes the hard and software which is also seen on macbooks, imacs in combination with osx. But both phones are nice and fast to be honest but I will stick with apple because of my good overall experience with apple devices.. they never let you down.
do you have the animation transitions off on the developers mode?
Apple = software + hardware perfect harmony.
Samsung = lets just use android and hope for the best lol
Go home Samsung, you're drunk
what's up saf? nice vid bro. Could do a similar test between the two phones in this vid with the new upcoming Sony Xperia Z5 premium? appreciate it very much bro.
in the fingerprint test they work equal the only difference is the animation.
How did you get your icons on the galaxy s6 to get round like that? Mine is all square
Will it matter if your eye starts blinking at 323 milliseconds instead of 350 milliseconds? Except RAM management, everything is cool with both the devices and I won't mind using any of these.
5:40 - u told us the youtube-apps were different on both devices, guess it's the app having to reaload not the samsung RAM management. I got an iPhone (be4 applelovers gonn attack me)
Cool video bro!✌🏻️
+supersarftv How come US based reviewed usually show the 6S coming on top in games, especially Temple Run. Weird to see Samsung S6 doing well. Different story if you check other tests on RUclips
Both great phones in my opinion. If i was to give both companies advice. Samsung should work on efficiency with how the phone operates. Apple should increase the hardware within the phone, make it 4 cores and put 3gb ram(maybe) attain a 1080p resolution at most on its mobiles no phone needs more than that.
