so about avatar being anime or not, it was decided that as it wasnt made in asia it couldnt be considered an anime (as at the time anime was classified as an animation created in japan or asia), but now years later RWBY is recognised as the first anime made outside of asia, so i feel like avatars classification should be revisited as the reason it was considered not to be one was disregarded when looking at other animations
