I would love to hear about the licensing and regulations associated with home based grows in your videos. It is a whole layer of this business most don't see or get in to!
I am extremely curious as to what licensing and certifications he has to be able to sell to restaurants.

Every state and jurisdiction is different so its practically impossible to make content around this unfortunately

When is was in Indiana, all I had was liability insurance. I called a lot of people to make sure, but microgreens are not regulated. Sprouts are heavily regulated. You can ask a chef in your state.

How many trays could I buy when first starting out?

Bootstrap farmer sells them in as few as 2 trays per order, but id recommend getting at least 10-20 to start

I’m starting with 10…which you’ll need 20 solid trays and 10 with holes or mesh. I bought 10 with holes and 10 mesh bc I wasn’t sure. As far as I’m aware, you need 3 trays for each setup to get started. One for the bottom, one with mesh/holes on top of that and one on top to germinate. Once germinated, you take the top one off. I have about $400 invested and haven’t even grew anything yet lol. I’m literally starting today! I’m doing hydroponics with the ocean solution.

Infokd it super annoying that ai cant get the metal wire shelves you guys are using over here in Germany. 🇩🇪 only Amazon sells them but not the right size. Even researched chinese whole salers but to ship them would be too expensive.

What about PVC piping for shelves?

Any kind of metal shelving would do the job, see what industrial warehousing in your area use and it will do the job. We use those shelving because they are the cheapest and sturdies we can get.
