In Tennessee there are trade schools that have cosmetology programs including manicurist. These school are free to Tennessee residents. Of course, there are some costs but tuition is free.
I went to the full cosmetology program. I found a way. This was before Tennessee offered free 2 year education. I went to school back in the 1980s.
Note: There are some requirements for the free education. Most young high school graduates are qualified.

In Australia we have to have insurance so we have to be licensed to be able to get insurance! It takes years & lots of $ to become a licensed and learned nail tech, plus it’s important to know about health & safety regarding diseases, reactions and chemical make up of products, training is needed to learn about it!
Fortunately in Australia we have part time courses that can be done at night which is fantastic but it still costs thousands to attend. Even though it’s ‘only nails’ there are still a myriad of different problems or damage that can happen during a service and licensing means the tech is trained to assess and alleviate those issues. It’s a trade just like being a plumber or hairdresser, you don’t want a uneducated hack having a go 😱

I don't know if you've ever done a video like this before but I bought some acrylic and it's similar to modelones. It constantly sticks to the brush. My brush can be soaking wet or dry and no matter what it'll still stick to the brush. Is there any way I can fix this? I have a whole collection of 30 and would like to use them but the sticking is so annoying. If you know a way can you please respond to my comment or do video on it?

Hi Maureen the only time this happens to me is if I don't have my liquid to powder ratio correct. May ask the name of the acrylic system?

I agreed with everything until you was talking bout the pandemic.... there's still people now without jobs still looking for a way to handle they business. Don't now how things are set up in Ohio but in Texas we still have people who are employed still looking for work. And the jobs that are available are just a few and don't pay much. I understand where you coming from but right now we living in a day of age where it's harder now to provide for family let along taking the time to invest into ourselves. Gas went up super high, groceries super high, an apt bill look like you paying a down payment on a house....just things you need to consider. So if doing nails unlicensed is how they making they money to bring food or provide for they family why not. Hell it's a lot of people doing hair out of they homes and they haven't went to school for it and gotten they licensed. But I don't see nobody having this type or kind of energy towards them. Just saying
