People raise peacocks for their feathers which the bird molts. The feathers become worn out and the bird needs new ones. It’s a naturall process. Peacocks make terrific guard birds too.

I previously planned an online store to include mostly crystal jewellery (uk spelling) but then my health nosedived I have hope future could bring improved health.

peacocks naturally shed their feathers. I have collected many that are displayed on my altar with other feathers. I've even made some earrings from smaller ones. Peacock feathers symbolize good luck, elegance, beauty, immortality, rebirth, royalty, wealth, or divine femininity. In Greek mythology, peacock feathers represent protection, while in Buddhism, they're associated with wisdom and enlightenment.

Hi Karen - another Karen here. Love your new crystals. You are so right- the best way to "pick" a stone is to walk among them and see which call to you. As you do with your SG's, they will speak to you as you cultivate a relationship with them. A good way to do that is to hold your stones and say the wonderful Ho'oponopono prayer once or as often as you are called. I love my stones and have become certified in Taoist Stone Medicine. If you are interested in specific qualities of stones, based on ancient Taoist principles, I can give you a short rundown on your stones based on structure, color, 5 elements etc. and not just broad metaphysical qualities. This may help you pick stones to help with your readings. As you collect mugs and oracle decks, I collect stones😆.

The immediate impression I got from your beautiful heart shaped tree stone was “as above so below, as within so without”. I absolutely loved everything you got Karen, & the selenite is very powerful, love that it’s a clearing broom. 2 things I can share about selenite: it’s one of the stones that you don’t want to get wet, & also it has incredible energetic clearing properties for your other stones & divination tools etc.🙏🏼💞 also I am assuming that the peacock feather was humanely obtained, as they shed them regularly.

When I get new crystals I often will put them in my bathrobe pocket or under my pillow to fuse them w/ my own energy!🥰 as long as you have a good sealed window it should be OK, in my wonderful old house it may pick up moisture so I would be hesitant to have it there for any length of time.

I love crystals~ thanks for sharing your haul with us! Celtic (as in the Irish/Scottish culture) is pronounced with a hard C sound, just like the K in your name. I went on a cruise to Ireland and was schooled by a local. The basketball team pronounces it with a soft C like an S sound (cause they are wrong, LOL).

If you have any pow wows in your area check them out, usually they'll have native vendors that sell things you'd go crazy over. I haven't had a chance (or the money ) to go in a long time. It's the best place to find sage and sweet grass too. I bought some deer hide and made a small medicine bag to wear like a necklace. There was a man there that had a wolf dog and he had some of the fur that came off when he brushed them and sold it in small bags and put it in my medicine bag since my spirit animal is a wolf. If you go to a pow wow just remember not to walk across the round dance circle because it's blessed for the dancers.
If you ever go to a baby shower, wrap the gift in a receiving blanket...it saves a tree and the mother can use it 😉

Love it. I have collected stones and crystals for years. I still know very little about them. I would have to look each one up. I have a lot of chakra balancing music and guided ones as well. Shiny & sparkly things always catch my eye, but I have never been “girly” in my life. All of the things you like and talk about are things I have always been drawn to. Native American culture is amazing and has intrigued me forever. My late husband passed in 2011 and I am now with a Native American partner so how nuts is that?

A medicine bag is traditionally filled with things in nature (outside). Free stuff.
A walk in nature will help us to tune in to the life force of all living things.
Feel the elements as they touch you. Use all of your senses to experience the original life that our ancestors had.
See every life. The trees, water, insects, animals (small and large), and all of the natural habitats that we aren't privy to when we don't venture into nature.
Smell the air, water, and flowers or grasses.
Taste the things that God put here to nourish our bodies. Berries, nuts, grains, and honey are the most natural of foods.
Hear the wind blow and the rustle of the grass and leaves as small animals scurry around. Water flows in the stream, river, or lake.
Feel the water, the air, and the earth beneath your bare feet.
Make a small safe fire. Dig a small pit, place stones around it, place small twigs in the center, and light it up. Smell the smoke. Feel the warmth. See the potential of preparing a meal in the simple way of the ancestors.
When finished take water from the nearby water source and drown every ember to prevent any chance that nature could be destroyed.
Don't buy anything. Bring only yourself and the items needed to do what you need to do. Matches, something to put the water in and something to gather natural foods that you come across.
Feel the experience in your soul while you are one with the Creator, our ancestors, and the life (plants, animals, water, air) that we share our planet with.
This is how we embody the experience of our ancestors. We honor and respect the wisdom and stories passed down from them. We become one with the land, nature, and life!
There is no greater high than this sacred acknowledgment!
    💕🫂💕

    Good afternoon, Karen,
I want to let you know that it’s perfectly OK because peacocks constantly lose their feathers ! I used to work at a winery and we had peacocks. We would collect all their feathers and give them out free at the winery because. Peacocks constantly shed their feathers..

Your Selenite clearer is beautiful. Please keep in mind that little tiny threads of Selenite will come off into your skin, so you need to be super careful with it.

Obsidian is volcanic glass. Some have gold dust in them if you put alight behind it. They are very powerful.

If you hold a rock in your non dominant hand ( left for me as I am right handed), and just wait and feel the energy. You can feel if it grounds you, or raises up, or if it is not for you. Try it.

Cats love playing with peacock feathers! Go Lucy! We buy them in packs, when one of our boys has ruined one we pull out a fresh feather! From what I hear peacock farms collect them off the ground and sell them so they are aquired humanely.

EMF= electromagnetic field. I watch a lot of ghost hunters who use emf detection devices. I know people who raise peacocks for their feathers--they do lose them naturally. Love your coffee mug and esp. t he stones. I've collected stones all my life (rock hound). finding them in nature mostly, but I buy some too. Need to get some crystals. I really want the violet ones. I don't know why. 🥰

Violet is a spiritual color, relating to the crown chakra. It is used for combatting fear and addictions. My favorite violet-colored stones are Amethyst, Lepidolite, and (of course!) Lavender Quartz.

You got one! 25¢?!!! I have a couple mugs 1:27 I paid full price for. It's a great soup mug, too.

I buy most of my mugs at thrift stores. I picked up 13 today for $6.00. 🤯 Some were .25 and some were .69. I did pay $1.99 for one that was pretty special. 🤩❤️🤗❤️🤗

Other commenters have said that peacocks naturally shed their feathers and there is a spiritual meaning behind peacock feathers. They are believed to symbolize good luck, positive energy, rebirth, wealth, and divine femininity, wisdom and enlightenment (among others).

The Brits pronounce the h in herbs whereas most Americans don't. I think Martha pronounces the h because it sounds more posh because it's British.

I think it depends on where you live. I need to go down to our recycling center and chat with them. I am also starting to hear overall that they aren’t recycling as much as we think they are. 🤔🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤗❤️

I liked the video! You made me laugh at the peacock feather! I agree that it somehow doesn’t go with your “broom”. Maybe kitty needs a new toy? Oh, and I think that you can say “herbs” either way. I think the Brits are the ones that pronounce the H. Hugs❤
