Every sign off is a Station ID. There are certain things required by the FCC and some things required by the station management. The only wording I added was "We think it is out of this world." NASA animation of Voyager and an early attempt at animated titles with an attempt at imitating a new space movie that had come out.
do you remember what year you created these? as well, may i use this in a compilation video i'm creating where i showcase one piece of motion graphics from every PBS affiliate i can find? i will credit your RUclips channel in the video, or something different if you'd like
@@AldenMoellerInc One thing about the Nuclear Gang promo. We were on a three hour delay from the east coast. I watched it come down and asked if I could do a promo for it. The only slot was in the next hour as an hour later the documentary would air. So, I had 50 minutes to edit. When I realized I had no time for a voice over, I went with the show dialog only type promo. It aired once.
Now KBTC and is owned by Bates Technical College and is now channel 28.
Just found it out. "Tuft-Sedge" by Montrose.
I see RUclips now ID's the tracks here!
What in the world was that first sign off about? Everything in it was just so, weird and strange…
Thank you.

That would be fine. fall of 1979 to spring of 1980. I looked up "Paul Jacobs and the Nuclear Gang" and it was released in late 1979. So that fits too.
Thanks! I love these by the way, I’ve long been a fan of chyron graphics

What's the name of the music you used in the very last sign-off with the voiceover? Was it some production music?
KBTC 2005 Closing Announcement
I used Alan Parsons a lot back then. Something off the Eve album? Other ideas are The Tubes or Kraftwerk.I don't remember.
