Hello. I have no idea if you read this but i own a IC 7300 and i am using Filter Setting 3 (BW 7k) for FM. I had good results to decrease the noisefloor a bit more. Greetings from Germany from DO8BI.
Hi, I don't use fm anymore, because most amateur radio frequencies are on usb/lsb, but I always found filter 2 is for me the best, possibly because I use a external speaker, but thanks for your observation 😊 73 from Rotterdam
In my experience Aluminum verticals bring in less noise than fibre glass verticals. Owned a Gain master and Antron 99. I found the Sirio 2016 to be better on RX. And 2 S points less noise than the Gain master.. Hope this helps..
Hi,to be honest, there are so many factors, examples the place, the antennae/ coax cable, your neighbours wifi, but generally the Gainmaster 5/8 wave is regarded as one of the better aerials, thanks from Rotterdam 73
Hi Mr M, for me with the Gainmaster from 25 mhz to 28 mhz was unworkable with the QRM, funny all the amateur radio bands very little QRM, 🤔🤔.but you can see all the QRM on the scope, much better now, thanks 73
Hi Mr Max,in the last 2 weeks or so only heard one operator,a regular on 27.580 USB,,,I have a new microphone and no one to talk to, ☹☹☹,BUT it can only get more busy, maybe this week, till the next time, thanks and fine weekend, 👍👍
Hi,I have found that a aluminium aerials are noticeable less QRM, also with the latest 3/4 wave aerial I've got,,good coaxial cable and well soldered plugs go a long way, good luck 👍73 from Rotterdam 👍
Looking good, are your the coax cable was not damaged, good luck,
No worries about the cable 👌

I have read the opposite. And maybe the other antenna with less noise is deaf.
Looking good to me, good stuff.
Thanks, took 30 minutes, good results 👍 👌
Looks like a well done job, good luck.
Good video,I want to move my arial to, problems with neighbors.
Hi,I know the problem, good luck.
Sometimes it's worth the effort, good you can have less interference.
Thanks 😊, happy it's a little less interference. 73
what's the better between this the antron 99 and imax 2000? many thanks.
Hi,good interesting question 🤔, but unfortunately I haven't owned either 😕, so I'm comment, but both are excellent aerials, 👌 73 from Rotterdam 👍
I did own A99 and Imax the Imax are better than A99.
Is it only on 11m? What about 10m or even higher?
