      Thanks Sam!! Lots more to come! Next vid is going to be on the Domain 4.2... We have been gathering flight footage for good viewer engagement. Finally crashed it yesterday twice with only prop damage! Love this drone! Its my absolute "go to" machine! We are very interested in your take on and comparison experience with your 4.2 and other types that you have flown. Please let us know as we will add to our next video your thoughts specifically as well. We have what you had already have mentioned, but if you have any further thoughts, send them our way! Appreciate you much! TTYS

      @@wildleeunlimited783 Hey y’all my apologies for the late response, busy at work these past few days. Just wanted to give you a little more background about myself. Still consider myself a total newbie just started around January this year but I’m freaking hooked. I started off with a geprc cinelog 35 v2. amazing quad by the way, same motors as the domain. Picked up the domain for freestyle ripping and now looking for either a long range beast or toothpick with o3 of course. Keep up the awesome vids, your authenticity is very refreshing lol. Oh and thought I’d mention I picked up an Avata 2 same day it came out and returned it the very next day 🤣😂. Thing flew like absolute trash.

      Good to hear from you! So we were actually putting together footage that targets our experience with the larger 6 and 7 inch quads. In a nutshell the larger ones still perform cinematic aerobatics quite well but with the added bonus of carrying a second camera for lets say a specific kind of footage that the 03 air unit cant offer per say. Super slow motion or color in which the added camera may bring to the table. You will however in any circumstance give up the agility factor of any rig with added weight but is less evident on the 6 and 7 inch platforms. In my opinion, you have an absolute awsome!! flying quad with the 4.2 domain. It from my experience does so much very well from slow flight stability to insane trick style maneuvers! My humble opinion would be to invest in a larger platform as many small toothpick drones with 03 cameras are fairly expensive and are very subject to wind gusts, not that would affect their flyability, but rather the camera tilt while recording some nice footage. We have just purchased and have been flying the Geprc mark5 lr7. This thing is a powerhouse! Right now it is listed on newbeedrone for $555 on clearance from the original $ 719!! It comes with gps and cruises at fast speeds with no effort or props in view. This is a hard drone to pass up at that price with its long flight and weight carrying capabilities if you are on the fence with whats next for you to invest in, I would have a hard look at this machine! We truly like its performance and capacity for a multitude of camera mounting possibilities so stay tuned! Again, we appreciate your messages and look forward to your thoughts and journey in this incredible sport of fpv flying! @@wildleeunlimited783 Wow.. thank you soo much for the insightful information much appreciated. It’s funny because I was just thinking to myself this morning why would I buy a toothpick for $500 that gets easily affected by winds? When I could pay a little more and get a long range beast. I was looking into the moz7 so I will compare it to the lr7. Before I do so, what’s your opinion between the two? I realize that the moz7 dose cost a little more but, is it worth it? I’m not familiar with what gps unit the lr7 is shipped with, I currently have the M10 gps on both my quads with pretty good lock speeds. I’ve heard last gen m8 can take a while to lock. Other options I would consider is iflight chimera 7 v2, and geprc crocodile v2. Maybe the helion 10 but it’s super expensive and seen some drawbacks regarding its design/performance. Also what protocol do y’all run with your quads? I run ELRS 2.4 but was possibly thinking about getting tbs crossfire for more reliable long range flights. Thanks for your feedback and as always keep up the great content.. you guys rock!!!🤙

      So we have not personally owned or flown the other 7 inch models you have mentioned, however, as looking into the design and layout there seems to be some differences. The moz 7 is a square or H frame type layout along with the crocodile and the mark5lr7 has the front arms whereas the front motors are out a bit further from the rear which some claim causes the quad to transition wierdly during fast maneuvers during flight. in our experience the mark5lr7 handles wonderfully while flying smoothly in a flowstate style technique. On geps site the other two boast 7 or 7.5 inch props but are a bit heavier aircraft. Also worth noting, the mark5lr7 does not come with a heat sink on the vtx nor does it have side panels to inhibit dirt and debris intrusion. The gps is the same on all three and does indeed take a hot min to establish lock mainly on the first flight. Afterwards its much faster typically. The recievers we are currently using are the elrs 2.4 system which many are switching over to from all sides because of the performance and open source design. 900mhz will give a longer signal but sacrifice video transmission speed somewhat. We find immediate obstacles tend to interfere heavily here in FL as we dont have any mountains for an advantage...lol. There are simply so many variables to consider on your flying wants and desires. I would consider buying a long range quad that will suffice for your planned cameras to be mounted. I would suggest not buying an overly large drone unless you plan to put its design to specific use with larger payloads as an example. The quad is more, the batteries are more and it is not as userfriendly to transport. The 7 inch series has been working fantastic for us with our many diff cam mounting trials thus far and we are seeing a real 15-18 min flight using zeee 2200mah packs. We just recieved and are testing the iflight f6x v2 and can only imagine the great build quality the chimera may offer as well. So, with all this being said, we very much enjoy the mark5 lr7 for its purpose expecting only what its capabilities were meant for which from what we have experienced delivers above our expectations! Hope this adds clarity and not confusion to your thoughts before your next purchase... thanks again TTYS

    hello guys you are doing a great job, definitely record more. Which drone do you think has greater capabilities in freestyle mark5 or domain 4.2

    • @wildleeunlimited783
      @wildleeunlimited783  Месяц назад

      What an excellent question!! Thats a tough one for sure.
      The drones are both good at freestyle. The smaller drone (Domain 4.2) would be better inclined for a tighter freestyle environment with 4023 props as it is physically smaller and lighter than the Mark5. Another benefit is no props in view and supports fantastic video through the 03 camera without the additional weight of a secondary camera. The Domain also flys well in mild wind and yeilds high speed performance with 4032 props.
      However, the added weight of the Mark 5 does help carry the momentum of a throw in larger landscapes. And supports a secondary camera a little easier. We transitioned to using the Insta go 3 which is much lighter and more durable than your typical GoPro.
      We appreciate the question and depth of thought and discussion that proceeded amongst us... we plan on doing specific comparing and testing soon, please stay tuned for the results. 😎✌️

      @@wildleeunlimited783I've already added Mark5 DC to my cart and I'm just waiting to order it. I've almost decided on this model, so you confused me a bit with this announcement. I'm looking forward to your tests, not only because of these two drones, but listening to you, I see great potential in how much you can offer the fpv community due to your naturalness and positive energy flowing from you. I hope you will manage to develop your channel dynamically,

      @@kamilczynski LOL We are a house divided. Mrs. Flys the Mark 5 the most and Mr. flys the Domain the most... We have been in some serious debating since your question 🤣
      But there are some points noted earlier on the positive differences we were both able to agree upon. So its good to consider the areas you intend to fly to deem which will suit you better. However, hopefully this weekend will lay some of the deliberations to rest lol... Us and our children will put both drones through the gauntlet to get more definitive answers for you as we have multiple of each drone (we absolutely love them BOTH) GepRc is a really hard brand to beat. We have 6 different GepRc Drone products and multiple of each too...

      @@wildleeunlimited783 When I asked the manufacturer about the same, I got a simple answer "Recommend the Mark5, O3 Or DC O3, The MARK5 IS THE FREESTYLE KING", so it would be funny if you could prove that maybe mark5 is not the absolute king of freestyle after all and there is a place next to him for throne also for Domain. When I watch videos I feel like mark5 is smoother in flight and domain is a furious beast. I started my adventure with Darkstar20, so it will definitely be an interesting start for me when I start flying Mark5 or Domain.

      @kamilczynski It will really all come down to how "you" would define Freestyle. Both drones are absolute rock stars, but if I'm reading correct and you are wanting a DC (deadcat) the Domain will probably take the cake. I don't think that drone knows it's a deadcat as it Flys like a X frame. It will also flow nice and stable. The Mark 5, 5" we have is a x frame. However the 7" is a DC and is quite manuverable while having major stability.
      In our opinion the Domain does not show any adverse DC tendencies.
      So how would "you" define Freestyle? What type of footage do you intend to get? The drones all have their individual places.. I have Mavics for pictures and workflow, the Gep cinelogs (2.5, and 3.5) for inside places and around people, the 4.2" and 5" for Freestyle upbeat flow and agility, and the 7" for 360° camera and smooth flow.. they all serve a purpose ❤
