Ty 'G-Dude' Zabel and the Hopi Salt Trail

The entire hike is a roundtrip 6,000 ft elevation decent and back out and is 12 miles round trip! The total duration of the hike took me 14.5 hours. Immediately upon taking a step into the valley all cell signal is lost!
In the morning at the start temps were around 40 degrees as the sun was rising. At the river, now 3,000 ft elevation below where I started in the morning I estimate the temps at 70 degrees. The hike down took me 4 hours. (Yea I got lost during the climb down too). The sunshine felt like fire and was hot enough to dry out my socks and top layers of clothing while laid out on the rocks at the helicopter landing pad.
