This video has not included many Facts about JIMIN and His Entire History and not included anything about JIMIN’S Background being the Excel Student in school but they included that only about Namjoon. JIMIN was the top student in his school and class president & School president for more than 9 Years in school life. He was top of his class & School. JIMIN is a Math genius, coz he used to make mathematical Puzzles. literally used to take classes for students when the math teacher was absent. JIMIN part of various schools clubs, chemistry, physics, billiards etc. He was really good in studies, arts, sports and overall in everything. Along with it he learned all martial arts since he was 3yrs old. When turned 12he got interested in singing and Dancing and choose to learn Dancing with Hiphop & did battles. Later got interests in Classical Fance form Ballet, Contemporary, so joined in Academy and learned and decided to join Busan Arts school and choose Contemporary Dance his major. Topped the school. It's in the film (Movie) I remember hearing it and thinking that's Korean and English and sounds like Jimin. I watched the film a second time and realised there was a BTS Poster on the wall in one scene. One of the actors is a big fan of BTS.

All the members have a hand in producing a lot of their own solo tracks within BTS albums. And they all have a hand in all their songs one way or another. They are very proactive in their music. Suga has done many works where he’s the producer, composer, & writer. He’s also come up with his music video concepts. So yes these guys are amazing individually and a perfect storm together

Off the top of my head, 2016 BST era, Tae is speaking to ARMYs through a camera and saying how he felt nervous (I think) and Jimin pops up from nowhere and says "what you need to be excited for is not the back" and then looks down very obviously.

Probably super late for this but I can assure you that yes, BTS is very proud of ARMY. And other Korean people are too; it was again a big topic when the members enlisted among all the other young men that enlisted and asked their fans to stay away from the enlistment centers for safety and privacy reasons. In South Korea, it's common that a lot of fans show up when idols enlist or return from the military - they sometimes cause chaos and endanger other people by showing up in big numbers. But ARMY respected BTS' wishes and stayed away... there are several videos of Koreans (perhaps journalists) etc standing outside the enlistment centers and saying something along the lines of "Wow, no one showed up - as expected of the BTS ARMY since the members asked them not to. They are amazing."
A quick note about Jin and V and being handsome. Jin was grabbed off the bus because he is handsome and he turned it into a running joke to help his self esteem because he didn't know how to sing and dance. V was spotted at his friend's audition because of looks but turned out to be able to do things too. He was kept hidden until the last week because they knew he'd be a sudden major attraction. Today, V is ranked the most handsome man in the world, (although Jin is not far behind). Jungkook "JK" just had 8 weeks at the top of global 200 for his single, the longest of any artist this year. He is a performer who is a great star. He actually started with BigHit when he was 13, it's that BTS debuted when he was 15. His success is due to his determination to be the best he can be, ever since he was young. Once you are introduced to BTS, the listening, learning, laughing and loving never ends. Welcome to ARMY.

Did you miss the note that this video was made with information up to May 2022? None of their solo projects had been released yet, The Astronaut (the beginning of BTS's individual releases) was still four months from release at the time. It's not as though the original video maker deliberately had less information about Jimin - sometimes this stuff is hard to come by, hard to vet that it hasn't come from a sasaeng, and other times it's just not available. I don't know if you got confused or if you're trying to say that Jimin wasn't given equal time, but I assure you, the original video maker included what they had access to. There's no secret vendetta against him here.
Hiii I know I am late to the Party but, since you said that V's voice really suits Jazz (and I fully agree) last year (if I remember correctly) he released a video called "Le Jazz de V" where he sings cover of songs but in Jazz style and it's the best things I've ever heard ! I have to say, I get a little irritated at how poorly this intro video covers j-hope's rapping and writing. Like I get that he's the dance and performance leader and main dancer so they want to focus on that but he's been rapping and writing for 13 years and is one of the main songwriters with 137 credits to his name dating back to 2012 (pre-debut). He's responsible for the concepts and/or melodies on some of their biggest hits (including Mic Drop, Ddaeng, Dis-ease, Dionysus, Whalien52, etc) and lyrically, he gives BTS it's signature optimistic messaging. His concepts are second to none and literally genius as is his wordplay and clever references. Delivery-wise he's SO versatile and always does something to change up a song. He's hard to pin down at first style-wise because he always comes onto a track a new way but after you're in the fandom for a while, you start to realize your favorite part of 80% of their discography is j-hope's verse. Anyway, I just think for rappers, it's really important to talk about their songwriting and style and the creator of this video did that for our other two rapper/writers but not j-hope (she didn't even number his credits!). It's a shame because it tends to lead to really misleading tiering. Like RM and Suga are rappers/writers and j-hope is a dancer who happens to rap and write some (even though he's written on just as many BTS songs as Suga). But I would love for you to understand that RM, Suga, and j-hope are all three equal parts of our rap line, writing line, Foundation Line. They have been together since 2010, performed as a rap trio called BTS before the vocalists were even contemplated, and have been responsible for the creation of BTS music from day 1. They have really different styles but when it comes to talent and quality of rapping and writing, they're all god tier. Please remember that.

They do show full or almost full dance practices and/or performances for some songs in chronological order album by album so if you were planning on reacting to their early songs like No More Dream you may want to do that first before you start watching.

So glad you did this reaction. BTS is not like any other group. These amazing guys are not just members of a group but they are brothers. They are so connected with each other and support each other especially in their solo projects. BTS lived together for more than 10 years and 3 of those years was in that one bed room apartment that came out in this video. They chose to stay together instead of each moving out into their own home up until 2020/2021 when they finally each got their own place. I believe that this helped them connected even more and why they are brothers and so different from other groups. Their variety show was created after they were mistreated especially JK. You are welcome to do reactions to those. Many of us enjoy watching them plus many of us keep going back to their videos to re-watch. They debuted in 2013 but they had been together prior to this as they were trainees. Something to know about BTS. When they say main dancers, they mean the ones that have the natural skill to dance. The main dancers or better known as the dance line are J-Hope, Jimin, JK and V. All members can dance but these 4 are more skilled. JK was actually 13 years old when he came to BTS and was raised by the older members. He is literally a manifestation of all the members. V (Taehyung) - sadly that friend he went along with for the audition where he was picked even though he was not there for it, well that friend was not happy and actually said some not so nice things. Sad but true. We are so thankful that V went to that audition. His vocal range is also out of this world. Yes he is an actor and has a group of friends known as Wooga squad which is made up of 3 actors and 1 rapper. They also did In the Soop: Friendcation which gives you insight to their friendship. V has also done a show called Jinny's kitchen which is on amazon. Jimin - He is so loving and always making sure everyone else is ok. love him to pieces and admire his hard work. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. Like latin pop, old school hiphop with boom bap, rap rock, dance pop, ballads, emo hiphop, jazz etc. Since they articulate so well, their music is very human oriented adressing extreme mental health issues (all they way from comforting, motivating, to eery delivery with raw mvs that youtube asks for viewers discretion), sociopolitical commentary etc. Their discography shows the growth from school boys to the tribulations of youth, to addressing temptation, to reaching maturity, to loving onself, to finding the core essence of the mind (i work in the field of psychology and i have yet to find an artist that is as profound as bts in accurately potraying psychological themes) to fighting the pandemic to now doing solo albums as each of the bts members complete their mandatory military. They will come back as a group in 2025!

Actually no one in BTS had singing in experience before becoming trainees. Besides Jin, JungKook and V also had no experience in any of the fields: dining, rapping or dancing. The others only had experience in one area, 2 in rap and 2 in dancing. The only other points that I wish this made clear is that JungKook was 13 when he became a trainee. He was 15 when they debuted. Turned 16 a few months after. When he says 15, he is talking about Korean age. They are literally all Seven stars in their own right. Like you said, they all bring something different to the group. There isn’t one that is more important than the others, IMO. The group would not be the same without each of them.
No V and Jungkook already had some singing techniques before joining the bighit how do you think they survived these training tests and competition? . JIMIN was the top student in his school and class president & School president for more than 9 Years in school life. He was top of his class & School. JIMIN is a Math genius, coz he used to make mathematical Puzzles. literally used to take classes for students when the math teacher was absent. JIMIN part of various schools clubs, chemistry, physics, billiards etc.
He was really good in studies, arts, sports and overall in everything. Along with it he learned all martial arts since he was 3yrs old. Later got interests in Classical Fance form Ballet, Contemporary, so joined in Academy and learned and decided to join Busan Arts school and choose Contemporary Dance his major. Topped the school. Auditioned & he was the only one got in from that audition and became trainee in Bighit then rest is history.

It's in the film (Movie) I remember hearing it and thinking that's Korean and English and sounds like Jimin. I watched the film a second time and realised there was a BTS Poster on the wall in one scene. One of the actors is a big fan of BTS.

He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! Off the top of my head, 2016 BST era, Tae is speaking to ARMYs through a camera and saying how he felt nervous (I think) and Jimin pops up from nowhere and says "what you need to be excited for is not the back" and then looks down very obviously.

JHope was already leading them in dancing with their "House of dance" even before they debuted. The rapline created/taught house of hiphop and house of dance with hobi as the teacher to help the rest of the members, that's what i read on their book or it's not true? So i don't think Hobi was made leader because he is "buddy" with Joonie? Though I agree with the statement of him doing a good job in leading the members in dance ............, but I'm confused with the opening statement, it somewhat downplay the succeeding claims which is kind of unfair to Hobi. Probably super late for this but I can assure you that yes, BTS is very proud of ARMY. And other Korean people are too; it was again a big topic when the members enlisted among all the other young men that enlisted and asked their fans to stay away from the enlistment centers for safety and privacy reasons. In South Korea, it's common that a lot of fans show up when idols enlist or return from the military - they sometimes cause chaos and endanger other people by showing up in big numbers.
But ARMY respected BTS' wishes and stayed away... there are several videos of Koreans (perhaps journalists) etc standing outside the enlistment centers and saying something along the lines of "Wow, no one showed up - as expected of the BTS ARMY since the members asked them not to. They are amazing."

A quick note about Jin and V and being handsome. Jin was grabbed off the bus because he is handsome and he turned it into a running joke to help his self esteem because he didn't know how to sing and dance.
V was spotted at his friend's audition because of looks but turned out to be able to do things too. He was kept hidden until the last week because they knew he'd be a sudden major attraction. Today, V is ranked the most handsome man in the world, (although Jin is not far behind).
Jungkook "JK" just had 8 weeks at the top of global 200 for his single, the longest of any artist this year. He is a performer who is a great star. He actually started with BigHit when he was 13, it's that BTS debuted when he was 15. His success is due to his determination to be the best he can be, ever since he was young.

None of their solo projects had been released yet, The Astronaut (the beginning of BTS's individual releases) was still four months from release at the time. It's not as though the original video maker deliberately had less information about Jimin - sometimes this stuff is hard to come by, hard to vet that it hasn't come from a sasaeng, and other times it's just not available.
I don't know if you got confused or if you're trying to say that Jimin wasn't given equal time, but I assure you, the original video maker included what they had access to. There's no secret vendetta against him here.

I have to say, I get a little irritated at how poorly this intro video covers j-hope's rapping and writing. Like I get that he's the dance and performance leader and main dancer so they want to focus on that but he's been rapping and writing for 13 years and is one of the main songwriters with 137 credits to his name dating back to 2012 (pre-debut). He's responsible for the concepts and/or melodies on some of their biggest hits (including Mic Drop, Ddaeng, Dis-ease, Dionysus, Whalien52, etc) and lyrically, he gives BTS it's signature optimistic messaging. His concepts are second to none and literally genius as is his wordplay and clever references. Delivery-wise he's SO versatile and always does something to change up a song. He's hard to pin down at first style-wise because he always comes onto a track a new way but after you're in the fandom for a while, you start to realize your favorite part of 80% of their discography is j-hope's verse. Anyway, I just think for rappers, it's really important to talk about their songwriting and style and the creator of this video did that for our other two rapper/writers but not j-hope (she didn't even number his credits!). It's a shame because it tends to lead to really misleading tiering. Like RM and Suga are rappers/writers and j-hope is a dancer who happens to rap and write some (even though he's written on just as many BTS songs as Suga). But I would love for you to understand that RM, Suga, and j-hope are all three equal parts of our rap line, writing line, Foundation Line. They have been together since 2010, performed as a rap trio called BTS before the vocalists were even contemplated, and have been responsible for the creation of BTS music from day 1. They have really different styles but when it comes to talent and quality of rapping and writing, they're all god tier. Please remember that.

1:05:30 You can find the highlights in several guides but the more in-depth by far is Rise of Bangtan. There are multiple episodes about 1/2 hr each. They do show full or almost full dance practices and/or performances for some songs in chronological order album by album so if you were planning on reacting to their early songs like No More Dream you may want to do that first before you start watching.

So glad you did this reaction. BTS is not like any other group. These amazing guys are not just members of a group but they are brothers. They are so connected with each other and support each other especially in their solo projects.
BTS lived together for more than 10 years and 3 of those years was in that one bed room apartment that came out in this video. They chose to stay together instead of each moving out into their own home up until 2020/2021 when they finally each got their own place. I believe that this helped them connected even more and why they are brothers and so different from other groups.
Their variety show was created after they were mistreated especially JK. You are welcome to do reactions to those. Many of us enjoy watching them plus many of us keep going back to their videos to re-watch.
They debuted in 2013 but they had been together prior to this as they were trainees.
Something to know about BTS. When they say main dancers, they mean the ones that have the natural skill to dance. The main dancers or better known as the dance line are J-Hope, Jimin, JK and V. All members can dance but these 4 are more skilled.
JK was actually 13 years old when he came to BTS and was raised by the older members. He is literally a manifestation of all the members.
V (Taehyung) - sadly that friend he went along with for the audition where he was picked even though he was not there for it, well that friend was not happy and actually said some not so nice things. Sad but true. We are so thankful that V went to that audition. His vocal range is also out of this world. Yes he is an actor and has a group of friends known as Wooga squad which is made up of 3 actors and 1 rapper. They also did In the Soop: Friendcation which gives you insight to their friendship. V has also done a show called Jinny's kitchen which is on amazon.
Jimin - He is so loving and always making sure everyone else is ok. love him to pieces and admire his hard work. He has a beautiful story.
There is so much to say but for now I leave it with this.

Since 2017 almost every year V is announced as the MOST HANDSOME MAN IN THE WORLD.
BTS is a 7 member group who is now in their 10th year with a 350+ track discography largely written and produced by the members themselves conjoined by their inhouse producers. The leader 'RM' has 210+ credits making him the youngest most credited artist in Korea and the rest of the members are not far behind. BTS is known for being extremely profound at articulating what they introspect and composing it into the sound they with their artistic knowledge believe will deliver the emotion of their lyricsm. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. Like latin pop, old school hiphop with boom bap, rap rock, dance pop, ballads, emo hiphop, jazz etc. Since they articulate so well, their music is very human oriented adressing extreme mental health issues (all they way from comforting, motivating, to eery delivery with raw mvs that youtube asks for viewers discretion), sociopolitical commentary etc. Their discography shows the growth from school boys to the tribulations of youth, to addressing temptation, to reaching maturity, to loving onself, to finding the core essence of the mind (i work in the field of psychology and i have yet to find an artist that is as profound as bts in accurately potraying psychological themes) to fighting the pandemic to now doing solo albums as each of the bts members complete their mandatory military. They will come back as a group in 2025!

Actually no one in BTS had singing in experience before becoming trainees. Besides Jin, JungKook and V also had no experience in any of the fields: dining, rapping or dancing. The others only had experience in one area, 2 in rap and 2 in dancing.
The only other points that I wish this made clear is that JungKook was 13 when he became a trainee. He was 15 when they debuted. Turned 16 a few months after. When he says 15, he is talking about Korean age.
They are literally all Seven stars in their own right. Like you said, they all bring something different to the group. There isn’t one that is more important than the others, IMO. The group would not be the same without each of them.
