Norway actually exports more great artists internationally now (like Kygo, Alan Walker, Aurora, Astrid S etc). And we are more daring in ESC, but swedish "experts" always thrash talks our songs and praise their own. We got zero points from the swedish jury.
The style of music Norway tends to send (modern and/or experimental) will be much more well received by Eurovision in a few years, but until then, just have to keep sending these types of songs to raise awareness that these songs exist in Eurovision. Eurovision isn't necessarily that popular with people who like this kind of music (yet)
