There's plenty of places on this planet, that could use more women like her. Carefree, warm, enjoy's sharing and laughing etc. We need less nasty and hate.
That drives me nuts. I get distracted when the customer hovers around and talks nonstop. I try to listen to them but then I find myself forgetting to do something or missing a step. You're a good man Curtis. I used my coil gun yesterday and sure do like it. I'd better for what that thing cost!
Some of my favorite videos from Curtis have nature sounds - mostly bird calls, in his morning calls. The constantly barking dogs and beeping smoke detectors? Eh, not so much.
Awe...you made a new friend Curtis. Your customer relations and calm demeanor are probably appreciated. Properly removing and cleaning that evap coil should be a breeze. Good job as always!
That little lady is lonely bless her heart. There is a better style of brush for cleaning the A-Coil. It’s called a chipping hammer brush. It has only enough handle to hold the bristles. They can be purchased at a welding supply store in carbon steel and stainless. 4-7 bucks each. With that long handle in the way it’s hard to reach the center section of the coil.
This was one of the best videos. Your thought process was clear and very articulate. The best part was there is no dogs and no beeping smoke alarms but even better was the lady she was very entertaining I didn't understand a word she said but oh boy he needs some milk 🥛
I have a 24000 BTU inverter Split unit in Greece. Super quiet and efficient. My guy comes once a year and washes every thing, both inside and out. I can't believe how dirty they let them get.
Spray the evaporator with water use a bottle brush it rolls off in sheets, should have checked the evap after cleaning the condenser static pressure would have told you., Feildpeoce digital instruments looks like tech school equipped. 1/2 ton bigger coil is not a big deal your condenser fan might be slowing down your service information is incomplete like you know? , but what do I know! keep learning always more info.
be sure and service the blower motor and check the blower wheel. scroll compressors can handle liquid slugging, or it would already be dead. it does reduce cooling capacity.
Curtis, I can see raising the unit off the ground, but why do they attach a strap to the side of the house. The frame in a mobile home is not very structurally sound. If you are going to use the wire brush to clean coils, why not cut off the handle. It would be easier to get up into the coil.
A friends house has a similar problem. Or a compund of problems. Under sized return overall. Lack of returns, lack of size of the return. 20"x20" for a 3 ton. I think it needs a good bit of work. The previous owners blocked off one of the 4 returns even. Trying to get it to push up to the upstairs vaulted ceiling open office space.
I no HVAC guy but have learned a lot from you one thing I don’t understand is what are normal readings when you hook up the Bluetooth devices to the system ? What is the correct range ? Does it depend on the Different brands ?
Wow, I can't get a word in, lol. That thing was some dirty. You fixed that. I bet it cools like a new one now. Cleaning the evaporator will do it for sure. Nice job. My old unit is still limping along, try to get through another summer. The stop leak, knock on wood, worked. I was putting 3 to 4 lbs a year in it, and it has been over a year and I haven't had to add any. I know it's just a band - aid, but for now I'm still rocking. 19 year old Goodman 4 ton unit. I know I will have to embrace the inevitable.
Well, at least your visit gave one of her friends relief from a phone call they might not have answered. 😆 Forty-four? Girl, I hope you got quite a few more years to go before you gotta worry about hot flashes.
I'm thinking the metering device may be too big. I found a 10 ton Trane commercial split system once with no metering device. Liquid line fed straight into TXV distributor. Killed the compressor, too.
Curtis, Always a Great video! That lady... way too much talking! she gave me a headache! That evap. coil... I gave me a stomach ache! People must leave the windows open when the A/C is on. Never change the filter too. Thats going to cost them!
Our 30+ year HVAC Contractor found a Crack in the Flue Pipe 3 years ago. We had the Furnace and Outdoor AC Replaced the Next Day. Carbon Monoxide Kills👍🙏
Curtis; Who did the ac maintenance in this house? Client: that would be my nephew thomas! Curtis; what year did his ac stop working? Client; about 2 yea..howd you know that?
OMG That lady... She must be lonely to have sooo much to say lol. I'm a computer technician, and when I get a service call and the client won't stop talking.. Man I get trouble concentrating.
Recover gas, clean evap, new drier, charge back up with virgin R410A. Those pressures were all over the place. Kinda looks like non-condensibles in the system.
That poor lady didn't have a word to say.😂❤👍😁
All I can say is “bless her little heart” 😂
let the lady guys, sometimes people dont have anyone to talk, shes a good heart
Kind of what I was thinking too wanted somebody to talk to

That lady needs to breath in between all her words lol she never stops 😅
The woman reminds me of my dearly departed momma. She never knew a stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone.
That evaporator coil definitely needs a cleaning. Great job Curtis! 👍
Thanks 👍
420 That is high! Cracked me up.
February 17, 2088…she’s still at the fence talking 🤣🤣🤣
Curtis you get dogs barking, snakes hissing and old ladies yacking. LOL
Some of my favorite videos from Curtis have nature sounds - mostly bird calls, in his morning calls. The constantly barking dogs and beeping smoke detectors? Eh, not so much.
I’d say the evaporator coil was more than a little dirty
Curtis, I admire your positive attitude and persistent to do the right thing.
Awe...you made a new friend Curtis. Your customer relations and calm demeanor are probably appreciated. Properly removing and cleaning that evap coil should be a breeze. Good job as always!
I've had customers like this that just talk and talk and talk, but they're funny so it kept me entertained.
And the best part is when they distract you for a bit and you make sparks with high voltage
At least she didn't have 4 or 5 curtain climbers out there hoopin' and a hollerin' at the same time! 😅
Very nice lady. She's definitely a talker.
Great handling of the tenant, Curtis! You come across as friendly, efficient, and effective in your work while she shares all her stories.
Great job as always curtis chatty Kathy and all thanks for the video
Glad you enjoyed it

Nice cleaning job Curtis, you sure had a Chatter Box there to keep you company 😉 😊 Au

Dirty coils creats a restriction and high/ weird pressures on the liquid guage.
You have a lot of patience Curtis. regards from UK.
Uk is blessed with mini splits
I use the same wire brush to clean evap coils sometimes… Cut the handle off though. So much easier to use. 🤙🏻
Good tip!
Thank you for an extra special video, she sure can talk up a storm, well done on all your work (from UK)
Lordy Lordy. She sho is friendly. Loved the video Curtis.
Thanks

That lady Is Tripping me out 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The Lady herself is Tripping. 😬👍
Better than a annoying barking dog
she's old school deep south...good people.
I live in the Carolinas and alot of my customers are the same.
be sure and service the blower motor and check the blower wheel. scroll compressors can handle liquid slugging, or it would already be dead. it does reduce cooling capacity.
@@catwrangler1613 I'm in Mississippi, I can relate 😅
Clean the evap to bring up SH, (assuming its piston), Overcharged with non condensables. Thanks for the video curtis
I aint telling you nothing you dont already know lol
I do like that they raise those units up out of the dirt. Thx.
And out of dogs pee! LOL
Barbecue brush with handle would be great
Had one like that recently, ended up being an oversized piston.
That’s what I’m thinking too. It’s got ok to high suction pressure so can’t be airflow. I’m aiming for oversized office.
Very vocal client 😅. Another good job.

Great job !
Thanks
A very good video with all the details - thank you sir.
Glad it was helpful!
You might have considered increasing the blower speed, at least temporarily to increase superheat.
I no HVAC guy but have learned a lot from you one thing I don’t understand is what are normal readings when you hook up the Bluetooth devices to the system ? What is the correct range ? Does it depend on the Different brands ?
Depends on the type of refrigerant
You was good company for the lady and helped with her A/C great for a Saturday
This lady is cracking me up
You talk about the compressor surging, what might cause that. Excellent video. Thank You...
Being overcharged
I think that lady is overcharged
That was Disgusting so Thanks for doing what you did Carefully to Clean it the Best you could. Hope they have you back out to Clean it properly. 👍
It was cleaned properly; needs to be done yearly! Save electricity too.
With evaporator coils, I just brush and vacuum the dirty side, and blow it out using nitrogen or compressed air from the other.
I spray them down with that foam cleaner, usually works, but then again that's a bad one there.
That's a real Helicopter right there lol 😊
She lonely 😂
Thanks again
If i heard you correct, you said 2.5 ton condensor and a 3 ton evap coil. Even dirty you should get some super heat.
yup indoor cool clogged. spray green cleaner on it and let self rinse
Wow, I can't get a word in, lol. That thing was some dirty. You fixed that. I bet it cools like a new one now. Cleaning the evaporator will do it for sure. Nice job. That's impressive for a Goodman.
Nice work Curtis. That evap coil was nasty.
Great video like always, my friend. Stay safe out there and keep up the great work appreciate all your content.🫡
Thanks
The top part of the evaporator coil didn't have any condensation on it where it attached to the suction line.
Well, at least your visit gave one of her friends relief from a phone call they might not have answered. 😆 Forty-four? Girl, I hope you got quite a few more years to go before you gotta worry about hot flashes.
I love her accent. She seems like a sweet lady.
Oh man, that lady is a trip! 🤣
I'm thinking the metering device may be too big. I found a 10 ton Trane commercial split system once with no metering device. Liquid line fed straight into TXV distributor. Killed the compressor, too.
I miss them southern lady talkers now that I'm in California 😂
Good Ol southern vibe customers haha
She just chatting away 😂
maybe it has a oversized piston.
Love a friendly customer but man can she talk
She was alright though. She was fun to talk to I bet 😂
She’s a talker mama!
You should saw the handle off your wire brush. More convenient.
May need to drop you’re temp clamps in some ice water and test them for accuracy
Your helicopter seems very friendly. And hardly anything to say.
😂😂
Could the piston be to big? Great video
how do you recover refrigerant?
Hi..could you teach us how to use the digital gauges...please
clean it and throw a TXV on it. swap out drier.
I wonder if that 3 ton evaporator coil had a piston/orifice/metering device for 2.5 tons.
someone is getting lucky tonight.. she has an offer you can't refuse..
😂😂😂
It looks like non condesibles for the head pressure fluctuating. Probably best to recover and start fresh.
"She's a yapper, mama" --Steve Lav
A talkative lady!
It’s like Jerry Springer up in there! CURTIS!!! CURTIS!!! CURTIS!!! 😂😂 😂
lack of filter maintenance with that dirty coil or it doesn't making a good enough seal.
That lady was funny. 😂🤣
i wonder if several of the supply registers are closed off
Hey, was wondering what model gopro you have and is that clip thing on your bag handle for the camera? If so what brand is it?
GoPro, and yes that’s a clamp mount
Woah Vicky
She doesn't stop talking wttffff!!! :D
She's right it is double dipp'n. She do like to talk lol
Bye Felicia!
Curtis, Always a Great video! That lady... way too much talking! she gave me a headache! That evap. coil... I gave me a stomach ache! People must leave the windows open when the A/C is on. Never change the filter too. Thats going to cost them!
malfunctioning txv or piston?
Our 30+ year HVAC Contractor found a Crack in the Flue Pipe 3 years ago. We had the Furnace and Outdoor AC Replaced the Next Day. Carbon Monoxide Kills👍🙏
How is replacing the furnace going to solve a cracked flue pipe????😮
You had a talker
she's a helicopter mamma
Lady Let the people work.. omg😅
Looks like somebody overcharged with wrong gas
Expansion valve is surging.
Lady is high as a kite
Wow that lady just don't know when to quit. Stuff like that you gotta tell her to go check the tstat if it's on or somthing
“I can’t hear you”…is that to tell her I don’t want to hear you, am making a video?😎
Curtis; Who did the ac maintenance in this house?
Client: that would be my nephew thomas!
Curtis; what year did his ac stop working?
Client; about 2 yea..howd you know that?
Maybe a horse grooming comb might work on that evaporator?
im only 4 min in tell her to go away lol
OMG That lady... She must be lonely to have sooo much to say lol. I'm a computer technician, and when I get a service call and the client won't stop talking.. Man I get trouble concentrating.

The numbers are not visible we cannot see
