My step dad pulls up and hops out with his little .380. he emptied a magazine into it, and while it fell down on two of the head shots, it stood right back up and continued blanking. He reloaded and shit it several more times. Event the cops came and had a 5.56 with which they shot it three more times and it finally went down. I was very young and stupid. My step dad was just stupid. I now know that I wouldn't even carry a .380 for man, less a damn boar. Lol. My edc is g32, i.e. 357 sig, and even that with the boar I'd feel undergunned.

Yes, we have many rights that other citizens around the world do not, and that's a shame. However, we do not have to exercise any rights we disagree with, to a point. If someone does not want to own a firearm, yet fully supports the second amendment, forcing them to own a weapon is contradictory.

My M14 type rifle is just as at risk of confiscation as an AR type,or any other firearm.
And worth every pound for civilian use.
Plus the platform is very universal.push two pins and change the upper half. You now can use a different cartridge other than 556. It's a big kids erector set.

I served in the US Army Infantry specifically for the second amendment. My father gave me my first 22 bolt action rifle when I was 9 years old. My father made me see how important it was to be able to sustain freedom by learning how to affectively use what men died for to keep us free. I have not been feeling like my time in the service has meant very much lately with all of the Anti American Anti Gun Laws. Thank You for giving my time in the service value. Thank You for giving value to the men and women who have given everything for that freedom

He should go back and read the 2nd amendment again. There are no exemptions in weaponry. Some private citizens actually owned cannons during colonial times. In fact the Navy was comprised of merchant ships that were owned by private citizens and they had cannons on them to defend themselves from pirates in the high seas.

The only nations to use the F-15 are South Korea and Japan who are have been strong allies for decades also. The closest we have to a shaky ally is Singapore, but they are more likely to pull a Switzerland in the next world war if anything.

Yup. NY's semi auto "ban" (Just gonna flat out call it what it essentially is. They're making you get a license to buy a gun that isn't even possible to get yet, as there are NO measures or forms in place to get the license yet.) anyway, their ban prevents me from even buying a gun like my father's, a stainless steel .22 tube fed Marlin, because it's a semi auto rifle. Well jokes on them, I took action and within 2 weeks of the ban I went out and got myself a stripped lower to build myself a REAL self defense rifle.

Switzerland and Finland have done just fine despite having a somewhat armed population. Russia also has relatively lax gun laws and yet they never had issues with mass shootings until just recently as a result of the war. Ask Ukraine if they think they're better off without an armed populace. They realized their mistake too late.
You want a safety act? Tell them to get their act together and fix our mental health crisis instead of fighting our rights. The 2A has existed since the very founding of the US and yet mass shootings are a modern problem. Nobody ever cares about why the shootings happen beyond blaming guns. The media only cares about the gun they used, especially if it's an AR15. And it's rather convenient how it always benefits them, huh? Fixing mental health doesn't, though.
Nothing they do could ever get rid of firearms in the US, even if people just let them. But the idea behind the 2A is that we WON'T let them.

Is there any law saying I can't purchase an f15 or a nuclear bomb though? As far as I have heard there is only litigation against automatic weapons and explosives. If that is the case that means the government is reliant on no one actually trying to buy military vehicles, so I really wish someone would try. Get Elon Musk to commission his own Gerald R. @@Mika-ph6ku since an atomic bomb is an explosive, there's that. F-15's carry rather large automatic guns, or gun. I don't know of any laws against buying your own airplane, an F-15, however, would have to be disarmed.
There are tons of privately owned decommissioned fighter aircraft. You can see them at air shows. Like old migs F-4s', F-106s' Harriers, and the like.

People in this country forget their history and don’t demand that new citizens learn it
I think it's more than that. It's that new citizens know the history and benefits of the US that people born and raised here don't: that the US -- relative to most parts of the world -- is safer than other nations that have stricter gun laws. Or that tens, if not hundreds of thousands of gun violence cases per annum dwarf the use of firearms in the commission of a crime.
My thoughts are the same as always we need our rights to bare arms to protect ourselves and our country and it’s frightening to see our political leaders trying to stip us of that!

Unfortunately that isn't the full history. The fact is not a single right enumerated in the American Bill of Rights was novel; all Englishmen already had these rights recognized in law. With respect to the right to bear arms, that came from the king (James II if I recall) trying to disarm protestants because they didn't like the French king.
