Seen them as frontrunner of Nightwish in Amsterdam and they were FANTASTIC! High pitched power metal with a back to the future 80’s disco vibe!!!

Thank you for the reaction! Saw them live in Buenos Aires at the end of 2022. They where opening for Nightwish. I was totally surprised by this totally unknown band for me (and for many of the present at the show). They were absolutelly amazing live.

Guitarist Anton Kabanen was founding member of band Battle Beast that you already have react to and when he leave that band, he put this one together. And singer Yannis(or Giännis) have his own RUclips channel where he have done lots of covers.

Oooh yay! I'm glad you enjoyed this. I've seen these guys three times and it's definitely a band that you should see live! They sound excellent and the energy is just amazing. Yannis's vocals are mindblowing and there's lot of kickass guitar solos. Also besides all that, they're such nice people.
Beast in Black have two albums out so far, but more is coming most likely by the end of this year 🙂 It's great if you'll make more reactions to their songs, but I also recommend eventually listening to both albums through from start to finish. It's all great workout music too! As you can see, I could blabber about this band for ages.. oops 😆

Loved your reaction - when I first heard Yannis sing the first verse I was like, WTF?? - then got into it and the chorus is insane. Addictive. They ought to make it a Class A drug. Brilliant band.

Great reaction, I love their first album, this is like the only song off it that isn't directly inspired by and referencing Berserk.
Another band to check out in a similar feel to their first album especially is Frozen Crown.

This might be my favorite song of all time. My most played song on spotify in 2018, 2019 and 6th last year! Lucky to have seen them live twice aswell. Very fun and solid live! Both of their current 2 albums are fantastic, but I recommend From Hell with Love, Born Again, Zodd the Immortal or Oceandeep for something abit slower! Think this is a band you will really like 😃

a) I would LOVE to hear Yannis do a duet with Brittney Slayes (Hayes) from UTA... maybe Tonight We Ride?
b) Covers... yeah, back in 2013/14 Yannis did some really great covers... he does a duet-cover on Kamelot's The Haunting... if you haven't heard it, it's worth a reaction, maybe? He even does a version of "that song" from Frozen... in both he uses a lot more power (mixed belt?) and not so much 'falsetto' (thoo I've heard it's called 'head voice' since he's had some formaltraining.
c) ''This is so fun'... I get a little of the Aramanthe cheekiness out of this band ....
Blam Metal? Glettle? Sweet meets Noddy Holder meets Dickenson? The endless are possibilities.
I've heard that Yannis may be a Counter Tenor... kind of a unicorn in VocalWorld.
