Cranberry recipe
I bag ocean spray fresh cranberries
1 cup of sugar
1 tbsp orange zest
I squeezed orange
3/4 cup of water
little bit of cinnamon if you like
Just let it heat up on simmer and keep stirring. Watch out for the popping cranberries and make sure they all pop, mash them up with back of wooden spoon if necessary
Always had fresh cranberry sauce every thanksgiving cos my mom made me cook everything from scratch

I’m the only one in my family the enjoys homemade cranberry sauce so I just make a small pot of myself!
Add a little Cointreau and that’s my cranberry relish recipe. I also serve the canned kind when I invite extended family over but my close family likes my homemade relish.
I just had to explain this to someone. It is the simplest, and most delish!

I live in Georgia and I was so sure it was going to be red like every other election but I still casted my vote with optimism and boy did it pay off. I didn’t even know it had turned blue twice before. It brought a smile to my face and joy to my heart.

I went to the Obama inauguration and let me tell y’all-it was one of the best/worst days of my life! The energy was SO electric and it was a monumental day/weekend...but it was also 30° in January, in DC, and even colder on the National Mall surrounded by water! Homemade Cranberry sauce is super easy.
1 12oz package of fresh cranberries
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of OJ
1 cinnamon stick
Put all in a big pot. Let it come to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Let it cool. You can add nutmeg or more sugar if you need it.
