This is one of the few songs that I knew my Daddy really liked. He always loved Marie Osmond & thought she was so pretty with such a beautiful voice. And he loved Montana & always said if he ever moved & lived anywhere else that it would have been Montana.
Such a beautiful song. One of the greatest song EVER! No one could have ever sang this song better than Dan & Marie. Absolutely will always love this song.
I have loved this song for years. I can’t help it but every time I hear it I cry big BIG tears. I guess it’s because I met one of the most influential people in my life there. My beautiful wife. We now live in Las Vegas and life seems so fast and hectic. But somehow this song renews our 30+ years of love and commitment to each other. I love you Connie.
Yes I was born and raised here in Montana. Born in Missoula in December 28th 1978. And lived in the same house all my life and still do. My mother left this world in August 10th of this year. But I will never forget the good memories.
This song always brings back memories of sitting in the passenger seat of my dad's truck, going down the highway on our way to some place we needed to be, or to our favorite fishing spot. Good memories, I miss him.
Roaslie Cullen3412 Another good memory of this song is dancing with my ex girlfriend in a bar. Nothing else mattered at that moment except for her, and the music. Unfortunately it didn't work for us, but we parted on good terms.

I JUST found out that this beautifully written song was written by one of my FAVORITE artists, Paul Lavon Davis (singer of the hits: "I Go Crazy", "65' Love Affair" & "Cool Night") & it made perfect sense, why the harmony is so great between these two.
When my mom was in the Air Force, she was stationed in Great Falls, Montana. This was back when she and my dad were first married, and I hadn't been born yet. They had moved away by the time I was born. They said Montana was beautiful and they would like to move back. We live in Florida now, but I myself have been sworn into the Air Force and am leaving in May. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to go there and see that big Montana sky for myself. :) Love this song.
