I'd say it's worth putting in the time and effort into learning Steven Brundage's Cube3 method instead. At least for that one the cube is 100% not gimmicked. But if you just want a quick way to add a cube trick or short routine, sure get this, but Cube3 has way more value.
No he can't. i think it is just one side that isn't solved. Every time he shows the white side that isn't solved. After he throwed it in the air, he doesn't show the white side so i think it is just a simple gimmik that you can build on your one.
Tom - you are absolutely correct. This was Craig's invention and Daryl purchased the exclusive rights to it in 1982. Daryl always made this clear in his lectures and presentations and also in his printed instructions that came with the original. Cube magic as come along way since Daryl's enchanted cube do we really need this on the market considering ALL the other cube effects that are available
Seeing as how this is a re-release to honor the legacy of Daryl and includes bonus content from Gregory Wilson we felt this has a place. Considering Daryl was one of the first to do 'cube magic' this is a nod and reminder of a lost great

As a cuber, for me it's hard to be amazed by a rubiks cube magic trick, and for this one, he doesn't even show us the white face... It seems like it's too simply and a dirty trick
I agree. Also I'm speedcuber and RC magician and I always want to make RC tricks as hard and clean as it's possible. Speedcubers reactions are has much more value than laymens.
