Nice. P_trig is extensively used in Simatic manager to set bit for an alarm and reset it even though alarm exists. But I got a new function in Tia portal as R_trig with static address is very compatible in functional blocks. Could you please distinguish P_trig and R_trig. Why did siemens introduced R_ trig? What is its advantage over P_trig?

Are there rules to use the P_TRIG I mean inside FBs, FCs and in the memory we select for it like Mx.x or Temp from instance DBs of FBs . Can you light to me. Thanks
Hi @hegamurl How did you configure the variables? Once you defined as „Data“.“Pushbutton...“ and the Add function is connected to „Data“.“Edge Triggered...“ So different names? Why did. you not take the Same Variable? Same in the P-Trig and Same in Add function? Thanks for helping!

Hello, i did not understand "Data".Status Triggerd" how it is changing ? you have pressed the button just one time in my knowledge we should add one each push not more. thanks your are doing a great job.
PLC works like any other computre with a clock,, what the program gets is a High signal but read it has fast the computer (frame refresh) and PLC can work like 1ms,.iI you press 1 time but your finger stay there 15ms it works15 times . Hope this help you
